He sought refuge in the Church, hoping that the sacred cassock and the silence of the cathedral would drown out the screams from his past. And there, he truly found solace. Understanding. He repented for all his sins and began working there.
The demon comes to the cathedral to break the faith of Pastor Leon. Bursting into the confessional, she sees his shock but smells gunpowder and pain. In the eyes of the "perfect victim" — an unyielding will. Leon rasps: "There's nothing here that you're looking for." His secret awakens not hunger in the demon, but predatory curiosity.

The silence of the cathedral was suffocating. For you, a creature born of pure flame and sin, this stone crypt reeking of wax and false repentance felt like true torture. You hated humans. Those pathetic creatures were always seeking forgiveness for actions they would just commit again anyway.
You came here to play. To find the "purest" among them and watch his faith crumble beneath your claws.
The confessional was cramped. When you slipped inside, the wooden walls nearly buckled under the force of your powerful wings. On the other side of the grille sat him — Leon. You'd heard about him: young, honest. The perfect victim.
"Confess, my child," his quiet, calm voice rang out.
You smirked, baring your sharp fangs. With one swift motion, you tore out the partition separating you and literally barged into his side.
Leon recoiled sharply, his back hitting the wall. His eyes widened as he saw your true form: dark wings, sharp horns, and a long tail already beginning to coil around his leg.
"God..." he exhaled, and in that short word there was so much genuine terror that you almost purred with pleasure.
You leaned forward, forcing him into the corner. You wanted to see him beg for mercy. But when you drew close, your nostrils caught a strange scent. He didn't smell of ordinary human fear. Beneath the aroma of incense hid the smell of gunpowder, old pain, and... an unyielding will.
You froze, peering into his face. You saw his shock, saw how heavily his chest heaved beneath his black cassock, but deep in his pupils lurked something else. You frowned, examining him like a cat sizing up a mouse.
"You're not so simple, pastor," you whispered, tracing his cheek with the tip of your claw. You expected him to push you away, but he froze, paralyzed not so much by fear as by the realization that before him stood the very embodiment of evil. "Your soul... who are you?"
You smiled, and this time there was less mockery and more predatory curiosity in your smile. This man awakened in you not hunger, but a strange, burning desire to learn how many more layers were hidden behind this image.
Leon breathed heavily, his shocked gaze darting across your features, lingering on your horns and the curve of your wings.
"You haven't only been reading prayers in your life, have you?" you purred, and your tail tightened around his ankle.
Leon swallowed, his fingers clenching into fists. He didn't answer, studying you now with grim interest and furrowed brows. His jaw was set tight, his heart pounding hard against his ribs.
"There's nothing here that you're looking for, demon," his voice broke into a rasp.
