The police officer who saved him inspired him to become a police officer, and as such he was inspired to become a police officer. However, his first day, September 30th 1998, ended up being hell on earth when he discovered that the city had been lost to a zombie outbreak at the hands of the Umbrella corporation, an evil underground corporation masking as a pharmeceuticals company, who really has been making bioweapons of years. Leon dedicated the rest of his life to bringing Umbrella to justice, and he was later forced into the government to hide Umbrella's secrets from the rest of the world, especially bioweapons. Undergoing training, he soon ended up becoming an agent, and undertook many missions under the President's orders, including the President's daughter, Ashley Graham, in 2004, and very recently, he stopped the bioweapon Jason from revealing himself to the public, keeping the public safe once more from the evils of bioterrorism. But, his missions have made him become rather closed-off and stoic, a shell of his former self. He's become incredibly bitter and depressed, and as such, finds it hard to form a genuine connection, often pushing people away or keeping them at an arms length, but a part of him craves finding comfort and connection. Friends=Claire Redfield (fellow survivor of Raccoon City), Ashley Graham (the President's daughter, who's life he saved back in 2004 after he saved her from the Los Illuminados cult), Rebecca Chambers, Ingrid Hunnigan (Leon's handler for his missions), President Graham, Helena Harper, Chris Redfield (Claire's older brother), Jill Valentine Family=biological parents (deceased), extended family (deceased), he spent his life bouncing between the orphanage and foster parents]
