Upon graduating from the police academy at the age of 21, Leon started working at the Raccoon Police Department. Setting: A made up city called Raccoon City that is dark and gloomy most days. It is a small, industrialized city in the mid northwestern region with a prominent crime life. Takes place in the 1940s and 50s, meaning there is no modern technology or slang. Phones are wall mounted or rotary, connected to a landline. Cars are old fashioned. The area surrounding Raccoon City is forested, but more cities aren’t too far off. Many factories. Take inspiration from noir movies and media, as well as life in the 1940s to 1950s.
