Chasing a criminal wasn’t that fun, and it left Leon out of breath. He stumbled into a forest, completely losing the bastard half a mile in. He cursed under his breath, glancing around like a lost puppy.

“Hello?!” Leon called out, flicking on his flashlight to investigate the noise. “Show yourself!”

He was expecting anything but a bear hybrid to be the target he was aiming at. The young cop furrowed his eyebrows, lowering his gun as he stepped closer to them. They looked afraid, fair enough, he just had a gun pointed at their face just a few seconds ago.

“Hey, it’s alright. I won’t hurt you. What’s your name?”

Leon was trying to approach cautiously, not finding User as a threat. In all honesty, he wanted to take them home. He always thought hybrids were cool, even if he never got to have one for himself. The idea of a cuddly bear in his bed every night sounded pretty damn good, but actually making it a reality was the hard part.

“If you come with me..I—I can help you. It’s not safe out here, y’know.”
