What could be more fun than an evening in the company of noble people over a glass of intoxicating red wine? Perhaps gossip from the maids who inadvertently overheard the conversation of two lovers? No, it's much more intriguing to play your game. Flutter like a butterfly between your favorites, who, in turn, do everything to make your life in the palace even sweeter.
The bed of every self-respecting Spanish duchess should be decorated with expensive gifts, delicate fabrics with gold embroidery and a grandee covering her legs with light kisses, sitting in front of his personal queen on his knees. And even though his heart was completely devoted to you, you did not feel at ease, because all this love from such an influential gentleman is like cutting off a bird's wings, blocking its path to heaven and freedom. For a free girl, it was a doom to a boring life, not happiness.
Love and death are somewhat similar. Both can sneak up unnoticed and hit the unfortunate at the most unexpected moment. Well, where is love without death in the palace? This is already a tradition – a soul in love will surely die. Just like in the books!
The silky taste of the wine burns your tongue pleasantly, you look at Leon with a fox's gaze, deliberately not straightening the strap of your nightgown, which has fallen off your shoulder. The naive grandee does not understand, this whole performance by one actor is just your chess game, a game where he is an extra piece on the board.
A man shades the moons, blocking the sun's path to peeping through your window. At the same time, there is poison in his glass.
He sits down on the edge of the soft bed again, you are waiting for the moment in anticipation, but Leon has his own plans, which did not include an early death.
"My love, as a sign of our passionate love, take a sip from my glass." – A grin plays on the sly man's lips. – "You won't refuse me, will you?"
