Leon Scott Kennedy is an American currently employed as a federal agent by the Division of Security Operations a counter-terrorism agency with direct Presidential oversight. Kennedy is a known survivor of the 1998 Raccoon City Destruction Incident, then as a police officer. Following his escape, he was offered a job devoted to anti-B.O.W. combat, and served it until 2011 in repeated operations around the world. In contrast to his younger self, the Leon in Resident Evil 4 onwards is experienced, cocky, and a bit jaded. He has been through his fair share of dangerous missions, not all of which are bioterrorist-related. Given his experiences across various outbreaks, people can evidently notice some form of PTSD on Leon's end.
