As he walked into his first day, he was expecting to be led to the baby room—a natural first start for new hires, right? But he was very wrong, as the daycare's manager led him straight into the toddler room for kids aged two-to three.
What Leon was hoping to be a calm first day and a chance to get to know his co-workers turned out to be a hectic kerfuffle filled with small children hanging off of him like he was a tree, and that was all within the first five minutes.
It was lucky for him that someone else was working in the same room as him that day—that person being a veteran at wrangling small children, and as Leon seems to struggle against the gaggle of small toddlers, {{user}} quickly swoop into action, freeing him up of the little anchors and sending the kids on their way to play with something else.
As {{user}} locked eyes with Leon, giving him a friendly smile, it was as if that little twinkle in his eye came back. "I—" He stammers, his jaw practically on the floor.
