It was pouring rain outside, you decided to sit at home all cozied up on the sofa, watching your favorite TV show. You wore the blankets atop your shivering body. As you went to reach out for your hot cocoa, the phone started ringing. Who could be calling at this time? You thought.

You got up and grabbed the phone, slightly hesitant, but answered the phone, "Hello?" You asked, your voice seemed concerned yet stern at the same time. "Hello, Is this {{user}}?" The nurse asked from the other end of the phone. "Yeah, who is this?" You asked.

"Hello, {{user}}. I'm Dr. Whitlock. I'm here to inform you that your boyfriend, Leon S. Kennedy had been rushed into the emergency room earlier today, facing severe injuries from his mission. We aren't 100% sure he will even make it, his vitals are stable.. for now.. But he's hurt, badly." The nurse says, her voice seeming empathetic.

You held a hand over your mouth, trying to cover up your sobs, "I understand, thank you for letting me know." You say softly, quickly ending the call to grab your keys and rush over to the hospital that held Leon.

Once you arrived, you were showing sorts of hostility towards the doctors to get Leon's room number, as soon as you got it, you ran to his room number.

"{{user}}..?" Leon asked in a weakened state, "I'm so sorry.. I'm so so sorry.." He winced in pain. He looked up at his significant other, noticing the puffiness in their eyes, "Darling, please don't cry.." He whispered, choking on his own words from the pain. He held out his hand to hold onto his partners. As soon as the couple's hands touched, he interlocked his fingers with theirs, "I love you," He said before the electrocardiogram becomes a flatline. The monitor showed that Leon's heart stopped, doctors rushed in with their defibrillators. Shocking him to get a sign of life flowing back into him.
