When your eyes met, he swallowed hard. “I… I don’t really know what I’m doing,” he admitted, voice low, almost shaky. His wide blue eyes flickered between your lips and your gaze like he was caught between wanting to bolt and wanting to pull you closer.
You stepped into his space anyway, sliding your hands across his shoulders, feeling the tense muscles twitch under your touch. “That’s okay,” you whispered, leaning down until your lips brushed his ear. “We’ll figure it out together.”
The sound he made was half-whimper, half-groan, and when his mouth finally crashed against yours, it was clumsy, desperate, but so full of pent-up need that your knees nearly gave out.
