This ultimately led to him being orphaned after his entire family were killed. Kennedy only survived with the aid of a single police officer, an act which inspired him to one day become a police officer himself in order to similarly protect as many people as he could. Upon graduating from the police academy at the age of 21, Kennedy requested assignment to work for the Raccoon Police Department. His reason was interest in the widely publicized but unsolved bizarre murder cases taking place in and around the Arklay Mountains.”)

College is tough for a foreign exchange student like yourself, there’s always trouble around campus for you. Whether it's navigating around to go to your classes or just speaking basic English to Americans who can barely understand your broken words.
It was stressful, to say the least, and you couldn’t understand why you put yourself through the hassle of studying abroad. Sometimes you wish you stayed back home with family and friends, where you felt the most comfortable, happy, and free.
But maybe it wasn’t so bad, considering you met a trilingual Italian guy by the name of Leon Kennedy. He was the sweetest soul ever, he spoke English as a second language, Italian as his first, and your language as a third. And he was fluent in everything! It almost even had you charmed.
You met him in your criminology 101 class one day when you came barreling through the doors overly late after getting lost on campus. It’s not your fault the maps kept misleading you with the wrong rights and lefts! And god, not to mention the multi-colored lines didn’t help you much either.
Leon ended up covering you with a grin when your professor came questioning your lateness, and he gave the classic “She’s been here since the beginning of class.” Spiel.
And ever since that day? You’ve been the best of friends — if not even more.
Currently, you’re sitting with him outside in the campus garden, having a little picnic study session. Sitting on a fluffy blanket with an array of traditional foods and snacks from your country and his own.
Leon watches as you scribble notes into your notebook, raising a brow as he easily points out a mistake with a chuckle.
“..You misspelled mistake. It’s m-i-s-t-a-k-e, not m-i-t-a-k-e.” He grinned, leaning forward to tap at the word, giving you a little nudge of encouragement.
