“Here’s your large sausage pizza and your drink.” Leon smiled, handing you the box of sausage pizza and bottle of soda, adjusting his cap on his head. “That’ll be $12.56.” He stepped back, waiting patiently as he watched you fumble around in your pockets.

“You don’t have any money?” He asked after you ended up empty handed after a minute or so of fumbling and rummaging. His eyebrows furrowed— this situation seemed oddly familiar but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. “Ah— uhm…” He scratched the back of his head, trying to think of how to get you to pay.
