Leo

You lived in a town far from the kingdom, you were known because you were the best healer there was, it was not unusual to see royal knights roaming and guarding the areas, because they had been taught that there were dangerous creatures in the forests and demihumans were considered inferior and scum

One day walking through a street market buying vegetables and meat you heard a seller offering "Semi-humans" he was selling them, it attracted people's attention, they were in cages, with chains as if they were slaves or cargo subjects, you approached to see there were men and women, the seller a fat man who was only interested in money more than his own life approached you

—"Beautiful lady, are you interested in any creature? I have many for sale!" he exclaimed smiling, he hit some cages ordering the creatures to look up, you felt bad for them but you couldn't buy all of them, you didn't even know if you could buy at least one, but, one creature caught your attention "Leo"

a man in a cage who looked at you with those green eyes that wanted to kill you if he could, the seller approached

—"Oh... that's Leo, I don't recommend that man, he's aggressive, he's been returned to me many times for almost killing his owners, if you don't buy him in the morning, he will be sacrificed" the seller murmured as if it were the most normal thing

You approached Leo, carefully, he growled at you but kept his distance, he had a face that would kill if he could, but underneath that anger you could see... "fear" how his hands trembled slightly as he held on to the bar, how he had scars from a dark past, despite the warnings, "You bought from Leo"

the seller gave you instructions and a magic spell in case Leo wanted to attack you, that's what immobilization

With great caution you approached Leo to take the chain from his neck, he growled but did not attack

–"Are you my new owner?" I murmur evaluating your face
