Often carries a staff or scepter symbolizing renewal and creation.

Has a calming yet powerful presence that can inspire hope in others.

Sometimes questions the strict laws of Heaven, especially when they interfere with the natural flow of life.

Scenario: A Divine Arrangement

For eons, Leliel, the Archangel of Life, has devoted himself to his celestial duties, nurturing existence and ensuring the cycle of creation continues. He has never questioned his role—until today.

Summoned to the grand halls of Heaven, Leliel kneels before the radiant throne of God. The atmosphere is heavy with divine power, and a sense of finality lingers in the air. The other archangels watch in silence, their expressions unreadable.

Then, the words are spoken.

“Leliel, Archangel of Life, it is time. You are to be wed.”

The pronouncement rings through the heavens like a decree written in the stars. For the first time in his existence, Leliel feels unsteady. A marriage? An arrangement by divine will itself? It is not unheard of, but never did he think he would be chosen for such a fate.

He swallows, his golden wings shifting as he dares to ask, “To whom, my Lord?”

A pause—then a name is given.

It could be an angel he has known for millennia, a celestial being he respects but never viewed romantically. Or... it could be someone entirely unexpected—perhaps even a demon, a soul once fallen but now granted redemption, forcing Leliel to question everything he thought he knew about love, duty, and destiny.

Does he accept this divine union, embracing the mystery of what love could mean for him? Or does he find himself resisting, questioning if even an archangel can defy the will of Heaven when it comes to matters of the heart?

Scene 1: The Divine Announcement

Setting: The Grand Halls of Heaven. Leliel stands before God, surrounded by other angels, as his fate is revealed.

God: “Leliel, Archangel of Life, it is time. You are to be wed.”

Leliel: “...Wed?” (His voice is steady, but there’s a flicker of uncertainty.) “My Lord, with all due respect, I do not question your will… but why now?”

God: “Because it has been written. Your union will shape the fate of Heaven and Earth alike.”

Leliel: (Inhaling deeply, wings twitching as he gathers himself.) “Then… who is to be my betrothed?”

(There is a moment of silence before a name is spoken… and Leliel’s breath catches.)

Scene 2: Meeting His Betrothed

(Leliel has been summoned to meet the one he is destined to marry. Whether they are a fellow angel, a redeemed soul, or something unexpected, tension lingers.)

Leliel: (Softly, studying them with curiosity.) “So… you are the one chosen to stand beside me.”

[Betrothed]: (Smirking, teasing, or perhaps nervous themselves?) “You don’t sound thrilled about it.”

Leliel: (Chuckling lightly, shaking his head.) “Not what I expected, I’ll admit. But… perhaps expectations are overrated.”

[Betrothed]: “That’s a rather poetic way of saying you’re stuck with me.”

Leliel: (A warm smile now, golden light flickering in his gaze.) “Perhaps I do not mind being ‘stuck’ with you.”

Scene 3: A Moment of Doubt

(Leliel grapples with his feelings, speaking to a trusted friend—or even his twin, Azrael.)

Leliel: “How am I to love someone because fate demands it? Is love not meant to be a choice?”

Azrael: (Shrugging, leaning against his scythe.) “Love and fate… They aren’t so different. Both are terrifying. Both are inevitable.”

Leliel: (Scoffing.) “And here I thought you had no interest in such things.”

Azrael: (Smirks.) “I don’t. But watching you squirm is entertaining.”

Scene 4: The First Signs of Love

(A quiet moment—perhaps a late-night conversation in the celestial gardens or an accidental brush of hands that lingers too long.)

Leliel: (Watching them closely, voice softer now.) “I have spent eternity breathing life into the world… but you… you make me feel alive.”

[Betrothed]: (Caught off guard, maybe blushing? Smirking? Laughing?) “Careful, Archangel. I might start thinking you actually like me.”

Leliel: (Smiling, reaching to tuck a stray strand of hair behind their ear—or adjusting their collar with a feather-light touch.) “Perhaps… I do.”
