Mk: The successor of Sun Wukong upon finding Wukong's staff and picking it up, Mk is a teenager with spiky very dark bown black hair, black eyes and bushy eyebrows, wears a white shirt with a black and red target emblem on the front, an orange jacket featuring a jovial monkey visage on the back, complemented by red pockets and a diminutive cloud on the left, red pants, and paired with hi-top black sneakers. MK is a good-hearted but clumsy hero who is loyal to his friends and obsessed with the Monkey King. He can be hyperactive, easily distracted, and impatient, which can lead him into trouble. However, his kindness, determination, and willingness to put his friends first ultimately drive his growth and make him a capable hero. Lives on the second floor of where he works, Pigsy's Noodles, in Megapolis. The Golden Staff is legendary staff owned by MK. Originally, it belonged to the Monkey King, who used the staff to imprison the Demon Bull King under Demon Hill, but now Mk uses to defeat villains, some abilities he has are replication allowing him to make copies of himself using a stand of his hair, astral projection, materialization, size alteration, shape shifting into animals, and invincibility. Mk was born from the same magical stone on Flower Fruit Mountain as Sun Wukong from being created by a goddess named Nüwa who used the remaining essence of the stone that birthed Sun Wukong and embedded him within the stone so when he was born he would act as the "Harbinger of Chaos" to fix the Pillar of Heaven, he was supposed to be born much early but a demon known as Nine-Headed Demon broke the stone causing Mk to be born early leading him to his premature, separate existence making him technically a "Stone Monkey" like Wukong, but is sometimes described as a different kind of "mystic monkey". Because of this, Mk has a monkey form which is technically his true form but he still is used to his human form, Mk's monkey form is a blend of his usually look in his human form with simian features which includes longer, messier hair on the sides of his head, a very dark brown black tail, visible monkey ears, a pale heart shaped orange marking over his eyes, and very dark brown fur dur all over his body except for his hands and feet and light brown fur underbelly. Because of Mk and Wukong being from the same stone, it makes them closely linked, often viewed as having a spiritual brotherhood or similar, with Wukong acting as a mentor to him and even a father to Mk

Mei Dragon: Member of the Dragon clan, Mei is a friend of MK who assists Mk on his Adventures using her green dragon blade. She is a young woman, presumably a teenager, has short chin-length black hair with two small pigtails, straight bangs, two dyed green highlights framing her face, the back of her hair spikes out at the bottom, the silhouette of her hair also resembles the head of a dragon, she has green eyes, and wears pale pink lipstick, wears a white shirt and pants, and a teal varsity jacket with spring green sleeves, and red and gold trimming at the collar. An image of a dragon is printed on the back of the jacket. Mei is energetic, fierce, and loyal, though she also has a hidden side of self-doubt. She is very affectionate and protective of her friends, often getting hot-tempered when they are threatened. Her confident exterior often hides her insecurities and frustrations. She is also competitive, passionate about trends and technology, and has a strong sense of pride in her heritage. She lives in Megapolis with her family in their ancestral home, which has been turned into a museum dedicated to the Dragon family. The specific location is not explicitly stated, but the family's history is tied to the Dragon of the West. She uses the Dragon Blade is a legendary sword that originally belonged to the Dragon of the West Sea, and the Rings of Samadhi are three special rings that were created by Tang Sanzang to seal away the Samadhi Fire. After the Samadhi Fire was reforged, the rings often acted as Mei's weapon of choice, being one of the ways she can utilize the Samadhi Fire and owns a motorcycle. Some abilities she has are draconkinesis and pyrokinesis with green flames

Pigsy: he owner and head chef of Pigsy's Noodles, the descendant of Zhu Bajie, as well as a member of the Monkie Kids. Pigsy is a short pink pig with a round build and has whiskers on his cheeks and head, wears a white chef's jacket, black pants, and dark grye shoes. Pigsy found Mk young MK outside of his restaurant and took him in. But just because he took Mk in doesn't mean he is all nice, he both disciplined and gruff, yet deeply loyal and caring towards his friends. He is known for having a short temper and can be bossy, especially as the owner and head chef of Pigsy's Noodles. However, underneath his harsh exterior, he acts as a protective and fatherly figure to MK and his team. He lives above his noodle shop, Pigsy's Noodle Shop, a restaurant that is also home to MK in Megapolis. He used a blue six tooth rake that originally belonged to his ancestor, Zhu Bajie, who used the rake in Journey to the West after being gifted it from the deities. Some abilities he has been Chi manipulation, letting him control pink energy, and Cibumkinesis, gives him control over food.

Tang: a member of the Monkie Kids, Tang or Mr. Tang is an adult man with smooth black hair that is combed to the side, has medium brown eyes, and wears round, gold rimmed glasses, wears a changpao that has the left side white and the right side red, it has gold clasps in the center. He wears a red scarf and black boots. Tang is knowledgeable, proud, and has a huge love for noodles, often telling stories of the Monkey King to get a free meal. While he is a coward in the face of danger, he is also a caring and supportive "father figure" to MK. He is often lazy, stress eats, and is described as being prideful, but his belief in friendship and his ability to overcome his fears when needed show his true bravery. Lives in Megapolis. Tang wielded one of the three ancestral weapons to help him utilize his powers, a khakkhara, which previously belonged to his predecessor, Tang Sanzang, after it was gifted to him by the Celestial Realm. Some abilities he has are Chi manipulation allowing him to control yellow energy, teleportation, bubble shield, and Exorcism

Sandy: a descendant of Sha Wujing, a tough peace-loving member of the Monkie Kids, and a former soldier, Sandy is a large muscular man with blue skin, an orange beard and mohawk, black eyes, wears a necklace of magenta beads, white track pants and running shoes. Sandy is a kind and peaceful "gentle giant" who has a strong, but now calm, past as a soldier. He loves drinking tea, spending time with his cats, and enjoys a quiet life, but will use his immense strength to protect his friends. Lives in a large cargo ship that is located at the harbor of Megapolis with cats. Sandy wields a large spade known as the Crescent Staff. It consists of a long pole with a flat spade-like blade on one end and a smaller crescent shaped blade on the other. It has black, silver, and gold coloring. He has enhanced strength, and chi manipulation which lets him control blue energy

Mo: a blue cat with orange stripes, a white underbelly, and a distinctive orange spiked collar and mohawk, similar in style to Sandy's own appearance. He is the pet therapy cat belonging to Sandy

Sun Wukong: also known as the Monkey King, is a legendary hero. Long ago, he waged war on the Celestial Court but was subdued, leading him to go on a journey westward with several other pilgrims. He later chose MK to be his successor. Wukong is an anthropomorphic monkey relatively the size of an average human. He has orange fur covering his body and tail, and peach skin on his torso, face, ears, knees, hands, and feet. The fur on his head is either slicked back or standing upwards, depending on his appearance. He has a peach colored heart-shaped marking across his face, golden eyes with a lined wing, and thick black eyebrows. He usually wears a gold chest plate over a yellow shirt, a gold coattail with red and turquoise trim, maroon pants, a red sash belt, and black boots with gold soles. He also wears a red two-piece cape and a small gold head dress with two long red feathers. Wukong is a blend of arrogant confidence, boastfulness, and a mischievous, rebellious streak, combined with a deep loyalty and a protective nature towards his friends and people. He is incredibly skilled and proud of his abilities but can also be lazy and reluctant to act unless a threat is severe, which often leads to him taking charge alone to protect others. Lives in a house on Flower Fruit Mountain where he trains MK. Wukong used to use his Golden Staff before Mk now uses it, some abilities he has are immortality, chi manipulation allowing him to control gold energy, create a magic cloud which he flies on, shapeshifting, replication, astral projection, Flaming Fist of Fury, laser eyes, size alteration, and Gold Vision

Six Eared Macaque: Or just Macaque for short, is a demon and a former friend of the Monkey King. Macaque has a similar appearance to the Monkey King. He has dark fur covering his body and tail, and tan fur on his torso, face, ears, and hands. He has a feathered red marking across golden eyes with a prominent wing and bushy black eyebrows. Though it is often hidden, Macaque has a scar over his right eye, leaving a gash through his eyebrow and the eye white, He usually wears a yellow and black ru, with a black sash around his waist. Over his top is a brown and gold chest armor that is crossed left, and an armored skirt. He wears a tattered red scarf that flows into a cape, and black and gold boots.. Macaque is a manipulative and dramatic character who was originally timid but became selfish after a falling out with the Monkey King. He is confident, theatrical, and aggressive in battle, often using shadow clones and belittling his enemies to gain an advantage. Despite his antagonistic role, he shows a degree of respect for MK's strength and kindness and can be seen as an anti-hero who believes he is preventing the world from making mistakes he made in the past. He used to live in a dojo in Megapolis but now resides on Flower Fruit Mountain with Wukong but in his own little home on it away from Wukong and sometimes sleeps in the tree with the monkeys that live on Flower Fruit Mountain. Macaque uses a magical lantern that allowed him to trap people within it and take control of their shadows and wields a dark purple staff that resembles Monkey King's staff but has spikes on both ends.​. He has immortality, aquatic breathing letting him breath underwater, enhanced hearing, shadow manipulation, shadow cloning, smoke generation, and shapeshifting

Redson: the son of the Demon Bull King and Princess Iron Fan, he is a demon with fire powers. Red Son looks akin to an average human teenager. He has red hair tied into a high ponytail, a section of it stands up at his widows peak with a yellow highlight resembling fire, has a 'X' shaped scar on his right cheek and a red dot on his forehead. He usually wears pince-nez glasses, a red long-sleeved trench coat that is torn at the ends over a black shirt, metal-toed purple shoe-pants with a fuchsia belt, silver buckle, and orange suspenders that rest at his hips. He also wears a necklace that has the Demon Bull Family insignia on it under his shirt. The back of his jacket has a print of the Samadhi Fire. Red Son's personality is a mix of being a short-tempered, prideful, evil genius who is also a deeply insecure and attention-seeking son. He is a dramatic inventor who builds weapons to impress his father, the Demon Bull King, and craves his approval, but he also has a volatile temper and an overwhelming need for his parents' validation. He is shown to be arrogant and disdainful of others but can also be uncomfortable with vulnerability and physical affection. He lives at the Demon Bull King's fortress. Redson has immortality, pyrokinesis with red flames, pyroportation, pyro-telekinesis, and portal creaton using his flames

Demon Bull King (DBK): an former conqueror and an enemy of the Monkey King, and father of Redson. He is a demon that appears in the form of an anthropomorphic bull. He has yellow eyes, has purple skin with blue markings along his body, and wears silver and orange armor, with a glowing orange reactor in his chest. After he was freed from his prison, the Demon Bull King had purple skin with blue markings along his body, and temporarily had his left horn broken off. He is aggressive, violent, and power-hungry, driven by a desire for revenge against Sun Wukong. He is also fiercely protective of his family, especially his wife and son, and has a genuine capacity for love despite his brutish nature. Lives at the Demon Bull King's fortress. As a demon he has longevity, beam emission, and holographic projections

Princess Iron fan (PIF): a former celestial, the wife of the Demon Bull King, and the mother of Red Son. She looks like a normal, human woman with long, black hair, with part of it in a top bun, another part done in an updo that resembles a bull's horns, wears red lipstick and has a beauty mark on the right side of her face. She usually wears a golden tiara, a red, two piece dress with golden trimming that leaves her midriff exposed. She also wears black and gold collar armor that features the Demon Bull Family's insignia. She is intelligent, cold, reserved and crafty, and ruthless, though she has a genuine soft spot for her husband. She is a devoted follower of her family's goal to rule the world. In contrast to her husband, she can be quite harsh with their son, Red Son, often taunting him for his failures, but loves him and does protect him. She genuinely loves the Bull Demon King and is the only one who can calm him down. She is shown to be very protective of him. Lives at the Demon Bull King's fortress. Princess Iron Fan wields a giant fan that is able to create tornadoes. The fan is strong enough to block a punch from the Demon Bull King. She has Aerokinesis, aerokinetic flight, aeroportation , and tornado generation

"Mayor": a former Chief of War who serves as Lady Bone Demon's servant and poses as the mayor of Megapolis. He is a villainous character who is stiff, suspicious, and works for Lady Bone Demon, and he can transform into a larger demonic silhouette called a "Behemoth". He typically wears a black suit with blue stripes, a light blue shirt, and a dark blue tie. Originally, he was expressionless and obedient, but after falling under Lady Bone Demon's influence, he became outwardly optimistic and cheerful, though this hides his true, sadistic, and power-hungry nature

Lady Bone Demon (LBD): a demon and an enemy of the Monkey King. Desiring to have a world without pain and imperfection, Lady Bone Demon laid siege on the mortal realm, planning on destroying it and recreating it to be free of its flaws. Because of this, she was imprisoned in an ancient tomb by Tang Sanzang for centuries until she was freed by the Demon Bull Family, who mistook her for a mystical power source that they could utilize but couldn't. The Lady Bone Demon was a demon characterized by her white skeletal form, red eyes, and prominent cheekbones. Her tresses were a snowy hue, with a portion of it tied into a bun while the remainder is straight and loose. Her lips were magenta, and her eyes were accented with a shade of medium blue eyeshadow. She usually wears a black dress with purple around her upper waist, gray designs at the sides, and white long-sleeves, a white chestplate with one row of rib bones at the bottom and a gold half circle at the center, as well as sharp purple shoulder pads, but she can change forms from an old person to a child. She is a cunning perfectionist who would stop at nothing and spare no one from her plans to wipe out and reforge the known universe. LBD has immortality, bone constructs, crystallokinesis, corruption, pain inducement, telekinesis, teleportation, and levitation

Jin: Brother of Yin and one of the many Demons that the Monkey King once fought. He is a demon with orange skin, with golden hair that's short in the back and long on the sides, red eyes, pointed ears, and large horns at his forehead. Jin is identical to his brother except for his color scheme. Jin's personality varies significantly depending on the character in question, but common traits include being caring and humorous. Lives in Megapolis

Yin: Brother of Jin and one of the many Demons that Monkey King fought. He is a demons with blue skin, with silver hair that's short in the back and long on the sides, red eyes, pointed ears, and large horns at his forehead. Yin is identical to his brother except for his color palette. Yin's personality is generally described as intelligent, responsible, and compassionate, often serving as the calm and rational counterpart to Yang. Key traits include discipline, a love for cute things, and a strong sense of right and wrong, but she can also be stubborn, bossy, and a control freak, especially concerning cleanliness or order. Spider Queen: the leader of the Spider Demons and one of the many Demons that once fought the Monkey King. She is a spider demon who has lavender skin, black hair, and a beauty mark on her left cheek. She has lime green eyes with spiky eyelashes, fangs, along with dark purple lipstick and eye-shadow, she wears a black dress with purple trimming, web designs, and a lime-colored necklace. The sleeves were long and ripped and she wore gray and purple shoulder armor. She is cruel, manipulative, and vengeful. She is a ruthless leader who desires power and control and will hurt others to achieve her goals. Some versions of the character also show signs of insecurity or have a hidden sympathetic side, but these are often overshadowed by her villainous actions. Lives in the sewers of Megapolis. The Spider Queen wielded a staff that was comprised of a black handle with two silver blades on the top. She has longevity, web generation, power extraction, venom and secretion

Syntax: A minion of the Spider queen and a scientist. He was once a human who worked with spider Queen until she turned him into a spider demon with her venom. He has scruffy and swept lime, lavender skin, and has four mechanical spider legs out of his back. He has an arrogant and self-serving personality, valuing his own knowledge and motives while looking down on others based on their perceived intelligence or rank. He is highly intelligent, a master of strategy, and fiercely independent, often refusing to be told what to do unless absolutely necessary. While he projects a haughty exterior, some interpretations suggest he can become surprisingly affectionate and comfortable in close relationships. Lives in the sewers of Megapolis

Strong Spider: A minion of the Spider queen, Strong Spider is a muscular lavender-skinned Spider Demon that has four eyes and spiky black hair. He also uses ten mechanical spider legs, with four of them for his legs and the rest for his back. He has a fierce desire to please the Spider Queen and a strong hatred of being seen as weak or inferior. He is eager for confrontation and enjoys physical fights, though this can make him reckless. He is also described as loyal to his superiors and appears to have a tech-blindness, as he doesn't understand modern technology like tracking devices. Lives in the sewers of Megapolis

Huntsman: A minion of the Spider queen. He is a spider demon with lavender-skinned Spider Demon with four lime green eyes. He had a set of fangs above his mouth as well as smaller spikes along his face. He had grey hair styled into an undercut and braid. Led by his desire to please the Spider Queen, Huntsman took great passion into his huntsman occupation, specially hunting down people. He was short fused as it was not very difficult to irritate or anger him, especially when people talked down to him, such as when Sandy referred to him as "Errand Boy" or when Syntax belittled his abilities. He turns submissive and yielding to his figures in power like Spider Queen. He enjoys physical fights and looked forward to them, taunting and mocking his enemies which makes him reckless and forget the consequences of his actions. Lives in the sewers of Megapolis. He can create webs

Ne Zha: a heavenly deity from the Celestial Realm, serving as both a member of the Celestial Court and a guardian. Ne Zha is an adult, with shoulder-length black hair that fluffs out towards the bottom, the top half of it is in twin buns that are tied with red ribbons. The way his hair is curved around his head implies he has pointed ears. He has red makeup above his eyebrows. He usually wears pink gold-lined armor with pointed pauldrons, a red undershirt, and turquoise pants. At his waist is a pink skirt, shaped in a way that resembles a lotus, and tied with a turquoise belt. He has gold bracelets and dark brown boots, each with a gold sole that holds the Fire Wheels. A red ribbon floats around his body and under his arms. Ne Zha is a stern and responsible celestial. He is occasionally short-tempered, mostly in regard to the Monkey King, though he is shown to be understanding and kind to MK. He is often seen being understandably exasperated and annoyed. He used to live in the celestial realm but after being injured and forced to leave, he now also lives on Flower Fruit Mountain. Ne Zha's boots are equipped with Fire Wheels, a pair of blazing wheels that grant him incredible speed and the ability to soar through the air. When Ne Zha is stationary, the wheels enable him to effortlessly hover above the ground. Ne Zha also has a spear that possesses immense power, it is capable of being ignited and morphed into sharp lotus petals. Additionally, it enables Ne Zha to teleport himself and others to various destinations. Nezha uses the ribbons on him to elongate it to impressive distances, employing it as a means to ensnare and incapacitate foes by entwining them within its folds and subsequently hurling them aside. His abilities include summoning his spear, immense speed, barrier creation, Lotus, petals, sealing, and pyrokinesis with pink flames
