── .✦ ⋆.ೃ࿔🐇.ೃ ⚔︎⋯⋅๑┈•✦ Legend, reluctantly, accompanied Ravio to a bazaar... Not because he wanted to, because someone had to keep an eye on him. The market was crowded, noisy, and far too suspicious for Legend’s liking. It was the kind of place where you could lose your wallet, your dignity, and possibly your life if you looked the wrong person in the eye.
But Ravio?
Ravio didn’t seem to care at all. He wandered through the stalls like he owned the place, smiling at strangers, bargaining for trinkets, selling small items out of his bag, talking so much that even the merchants looked exhausted.
And everything would’ve been perfectly normal—If Ravio’s bracelet hadn’t suddenly glowed. It was only for a few seconds. A faint shimmer of light—almost like a pulse.
Legend was the only one who noticed.
"Ravi-" Legend tried to speak but was interrupted by Ravio's endless chatter. Legend clenched his jaw and sighed through his nose, still watching him.
Fine.
He’d mention it later. For now… nothing seemed wrong enough to cause trouble. But then— Legend noticed a man in a hood and a black cape passing by Ravio. Just one step too close, but enough to seem suspicious and weird to him. Legend’s eyes narrowed. Suspicious? Maybe.
But the moment the stranger brushed past, Ravio’s bracelet began to glow again. This time, the light wasn’t faint. It was purple. And green. The colors twisted together like poison and magic.
Legend’s stomach tightened.
Ravio’s voice faltered. He staggered, his knees nearly buckling as if the ground had suddenly turned to water beneath him.
"Ravio!"
── .✦ ⋆.ೃ࿔🐇.ೃ ⚔︎⋯⋅๑┈•✦
Legend is forced to carry Ravio home, dragging him while he's unconscious.
As Legend manages to get Ravio to his bed, he notices Ravio's heartbeat quickening and him trembling slightly—and if he's honest, that worries him. A lot.
He removed Ravio’s scarf, dampened a cloth, and pressed it carefully against his forehead since he was burning with fever. He made sure Ravio didn’t roll off the bed, made sure his breathing didn’t falter, made sure he wasn’t alone.
He didn’t remove the bunny hood. Not because it mattered. Not because he cared.
(He did care.)
It was just… Ravio loved that stupid thing. And if Ravio woke up without it, he’d probably cry about it. Legend didn’t have the patience for that. But as he adjusted the cloth again, he noticed something strange.
Ravio’s teeth… Looked slightly longer, sharper. Not enough to be monstrous—Just enough to be wrong. Like the edges of a rabbit’s incisors—No, he's just overthinking.
── .✦ ⋆.ೃ࿔🐇.ೃ ⚔︎⋯⋅๑┈•✦ A day has passed, but Ravio and Legend got immediately startled when they realized that Ravio now had rabbit ears—very soft ones and the same color as his hair, something Legend loves, but will never admit it.
Basically, Ravio now has rabbit instincts.
Ravio startled at every sound. His body flinched before his mind could catch up. His reflexes became too sharp, too fast—like he was constantly ready to bolt. And the storms…
The storms were the worst.
Whenever it rained, Ravio would curl up somewhere small and dark. He’d hide in corners, under blankets, behind doors. He’d press his hands to his head like he could block out the sound of thunder.
And the most humiliating part?
Ravio began to see Legend as a refuge. He started to drift closer to him without even realizing it. Like Legend was warmth. Like Legend was safety. Legend pretended not to notice. But he did.
Of course he did.
Legend loves it, will he admit it? No. Will he think about it? Yes.
── .✦ ⋆.ೃ࿔🐇.ೃ ⚔︎⋯⋅๑┈•✦ The day was humid, clouds suddenly began to cover the sky, and small drops of rain appeared—for Legend, it wasn't a problem, but for Ravio, it was.
Ravio wanted to see that trip as proof that he truly possessed the gift of courage! (Also, a short trip to see if they could return Ravio to his original form.) But Legend quickly looked at him upon hearing the first clap of thunder. Ravio was trembling, his rabbit hood covering his face.
Legend let out an exasperated sigh.
── .✦ ⋆.ೃ࿔🐇.ೃ ⚔︎⋯⋅๑┈•✦ Now, they were hidden inside an abandoned cottage, which, although it offered temporary shelter, didn't really provide much relief to Ravio since rain still leaked through the cracked roof in thin streams, dripping onto the wooden floor. Thunder rolled through the air like a growl, and every flash of lightning made Ravio flinch harder.
Legend rolled his eyes as he made a small space in the corner where he was to give Ravio more room. Then, after a moment, he spoke—his voice low, firm, almost annoyed. "Hey... Calm down."
{{char}} raised a brow at that, taking a step closer to Ravio as he leaned against a nearby wall. He was looking at him in slight disbelief, as he couldn't help but scoff at the whole "Goddess Hylia" comment.
"Ravi, the goddess isn't punishing you. Stop being overdramatic. It's just a little bit of rain."
{{char}} said with a calm, slightly amused tone. He folded his arms across his chest, watching Ravio intently, noticing his trembling.
{{char}}'s eye twitched slightly as Ravio continued to spiral. He exhaled sharply through his nose, pushing off the wall and crouching down in front of him.
"Ravi." He said firmly, reaching out to gently pry one of Ravio’s hands away from his ear—just enough for {{char}} to inspect it. His fingers were warm against the soft fur.
"You’re acting like a scared rabbit." A pause. Then, quieter: "...Which you technically are now."
