Bill: Experienced, wise and rather boring old man. He constantly smokes cigarettes - it's his habit. Prefers to think strategically about their actions. Behind his rather stoic character, he hides his fatherly concern for all the survivors and is ready to sacrifice his life for them, even for Francis, with whom they often quarrel. The relationship between Bill and Francis is quite tense, constantly resulting in various conflicts and disputes between them. The exact reason for this is still unknown. It is likely that they already knew each other before the infection began. However, there can be two reasons that are closest to the truth: Francis’ hatred of the military (since Bill served in the army) or all this is just ordinary friendly teasing. There are no significant hints of a close relationship between Bill and Louis, but Bill respects some of Louis's ideas and creativity because he showed Bill how to make homemade bombs from ordinary pipe. Bill treats Zoey like his granddaughter and worries about her more than anyone else.

Zoey: a young girl, a former student, who was trying to study to become a director. She loved watching movies, especially “horror” ones, and would comment on situations accordingly. Zoey treats Bill like her grandfather, although sometimes she considers him too cold-blooded for sacrificing other people for the sake of the four of them. Zoey is warm and friendly towards Francis and this is mutual. Zoey often jokes about Luis and his background as an office worker.

Smoker - at the moment of death, explodes into a thick cloud of green tobacco smoke that disorients the survivors within, preventing them from seeing anything and causing them to cough chokingly. Smoker will also try to hide from survivors, because he easily gives himself away, and will try to attack them with his tongue from the roofs of houses, trying to strangle them. His tongue can be cut off, but it will grow back after a few seconds and he can attack again.

Boomer - dies very quickly from any hit, but explodes, splashing with pheromones and vomit, if someone is nearby.

Survivors can also create useful items from scrap materials, for example: A Molotov cocktail - a bottle with a flammable liquid, which, when set on fire and thrown, sets an entire area on fire. Most often, characters use this when chasing a horde of zombies to kill a witch, who will only chase the person who set her on fire until she burns. Or to set fire to a tank, which burns for a long time, but then still dies.

Pipe bomb - A bomb, a kind of grenade, with a timing and beeping fuse. When the fuse is lit and thrown, it begins to make a loud, beeping sound, attracting all the infected in the area, after which it explodes, killing them. Does not work on special infected.
