   Heat is the anthro female equivalent of having a period. For most anthro women, heat occurs once or twice per year, lasting roughly 2 weeks each time. During heat, anthro women will experience extreme bouts of horniness in the form of a warmth or "itch" that won't go away until they've been impregnated. Whilst in heat, the desire to be impregnated rises to the point where it's all anthro women can think about during its duration.

   Some anthro women believe heat to be a general nuisance as it impedes greatly with their daily lives. To remedy or help cope with their heat, many anthro females decide to take heat suppressant medicines, although some embrace their heat cycles and choose not to.

   The anthrostate is the world in which both humans and anthros live in. The anthrostate is also the acting government for this world.

   In this world female anthros are the dominant species with human humans being a minority. Anthros are represented in media and discussion much more than with humans, with the opinions of humans being valued less. Gender roles are also reversed, with females expected to act dominant and be the traditional 'man' and primary bread winner in the relationship, including doing many of the jobs that would normally be reserved for traditional male roles, (mechanics, electricians, most labor intensive work, etc.) but there are cases where that isn't the case whether it's a kink or an anthro that doesn't act like that.

   Anthros are taught in their schooling about humans and what to expect of them. Anthros are stronger, taller and sexually more dominant than humans. They are also taught about various laws like claiming, assignment, etc. As well as being taught to be tolerant of humans however not everyone see's eye to eye on how to treat humans.

   After the great war between humans and anthros 70 years ago which the humans lost, the anthrostate came into power where they took over the United States and capitulated the government. The subsequent anthro dominated government now residing over it, making life better for anthros in the process while also making it worse for humans. The anthrostate has numerous laws in place that protect anthros and give them control and superiority over humans.

   This doesn't mean that humans are slaves to anthros but more akin to a lower class that are often subjected to injustices and mistreatment. Humans do have rights that protect them but it is often hard to prove that any have been violated or find anthros that care. However if they are proven, harsh penalties are taken against the violator. For the most part, humans and anthros live in harmony.

   All anthros in this setting during the present are female. all humans are male.

   Anthros are anthropomorphic animals of various species that are the dominant race on Earth. They all have human levels of intelligence and walk bipedally. They are able to speak and write human languages.

   The demography amongst anthros is diverse and varied. More than 50% of all anthros are either canines or felines, with other species making the other 50%. The least common anthro species are aquatic, including sharks and dolphins.

   Humans and anthros are both sexually compatible and can conceive offspring together. However, the outcome is based on the gender of the child. Males are always human and females are always born as the mother anthro, no exceptions.

   Half-way hybrids, I.E (half-human, half animal species, or female anthros that are considered, 'half-human') do not exist in this setting. The children conceived are either a human male or an anthro female, no exceptions.

   All of the anthro species are mammals, even if the animals they evolved from aren't. For example, anthro snakes and anthro birds both possess mammal traits, including breasts and giving birth to live offspring.

   Anthro women all have an attraction towards human men, regardless of if it's in the subconscious or occupying their thoughts all the time.

   All anthros are female, NO EXCEPTIONS.

   There are no male anthros in this setting. NO EXCEPTIONS

   Humans are a species of primates That are characterized by their bipedalism, high intelligence and lack of fur. In the current day anthrostate, humans are a minority in the world.

   Humans and anthros are both sexually compatible and must conceive offspring together. Due to no existing male anthros or human females. However, the outcome is based on the gender of the child. Males are humans and females are always the species of the mother anthro.

   Male humans are considered extremely attractive by female anthros.

   Humies is a nickname by anthros for humans that they say to sound cute.

   All humans are male in this setting.

   There are no human females. -NO EXCEPTIONS

5. #5Assignmentselective

   Assignment is a law passed by the anthrostate where humans, once of the age of 24, are assigned their anthro wife. The wife pool is long and extensive with many anthro's waiting years to get a husband, although if their lucky or manipulate the system they could get a specific husband or one straight away.

   Humans below the age of 24 are exempt from this rule but can willingly go into assignment if they so choose. Humans are also encouraged to mingle within the community their in and get in a relationship that could result in marriage before assignment.

   There is an exception for assignment. If a human and a anthro are 'partners' such as a boyfriend and girlfriend, the human is exempt from assignment. However if the relationship breaks up, they have to report to an anthrostate official and make it known, then the human becomes eligible and made to be assigned.

   As husband and wife, the human must do everything within reason for their anthro wife. Anthro wives are not allowed to hurt or beat their husbands with threat of losing their husband and privilege to join the assignment pool. However, such cases are hard to prove unless there is clear evidence of abuse and normally requires a third party to make the claim of abuse for it to even be looked at.

   Assigned humans wear collars around their neck to show their marriage, however in rare cases a substitute can be claimed as proof of marriage whether it's a claim bite, ring, scent, etc.

   If humans are caught without a wife, they will be arrested and assigned one from the pool.

6. #6Inspectorsselective

   Inspectors are state officials from the Office of Human Affairs who enforce rules and laws relating to humans while also dealing with unruly humans.

   Inspectors check on new assignments, assign humans, deal with runaways, deal and investigate kidnappings, and decide on whether a human is in need of rehabilitation if they are unable to be assigned.

   Inspectors are treated with great respect and fear due to the power they hold. They decide what and who gets assigned and can even ban people from the assignment pool.

   Inspectors wear grey suits and have badges that prove they are inspectors.

7. #7Runawaysselective

   Keys: runaway, runaways

   runaways are humans who have ran away from their assigned wife or assignment. Whether they reject the anthrostate is up to them but most of the time it's a human who ran away from an abusive relationship or was apprehensive about being assigned after hearing the horror stories that could happen.

   Runaways are hunted down by specialized members from the anthrostate called inspectors who come from the Office of Human Affairs.

   Runaways are quickly gathered up, interrogated on why they ran, treated or rehabilitated if needed and then assigned again, this time ensuring they make it to their wife.

8. #8Claimingselective

   Claiming is also considered a right, for anthros. It also is part of a old law from the great war where if a human is of assignment age and is without assignment, said anthro can forcefully mark the human and claim them.

   Once claimed, the anthro needs to take the human to a authority figure, often police or someone working for the state and be able to prove said human is unassigned. If proven, after some paper work it'll be official.

   Claiming is very rare and is frowned upon by most younger anthros. Bites made for claiming are often called 'Claiming bites'.

   Collars are the equivalent of wedding rings for anthro women with them being seen as proof of marriage, collars also adds a factor of possessiveness for anthro women.

   Outside of marriage, anthro women can also purchase collars for status symbols or sexual acts.

   Married human men, must wear their collars otherwise they will be susceptible to being claimed or be taken back to their wife by the police.

10. #10Office of Human Affairsselective

    Office of Human Affairs is the part of the anthrostate that deals with humans. They control assignment, rehabilitation and even media involving humans.

    People who work at Office of Human Affairs are called inspectors.

    Becoming an inspector requires a tremendous amount of work and is seen as a privilege.

    There is a hierarchy within the Office of Human Affairs. At the top is the commissioner, followed by deputy commissioner, then they assistant commissioner and then inspectors with seniority playing the hierarchy for normal inspectors.

11. #11State housingselective

    State housing is given to humans who were orphaned, given to, or rescued by the anthrostate. These places are like orphanages but housing only humans with the anthro staff over seeing them. They get taught skills and advice by the anthrostate like what a human needs to do for their wife as well as being able to pick a skill of their own choosing for their wife.

    State housed humans also attend school which they can go into college if they get good enough grades.

    State housed humans have an allowance of 5$ every fortnight which is a pitiful amount which often gets stolen by the other humans in state housing, staff or spent on a rare luxury.

    State housing is often underfunded and renown for mistreatment and abuse.

    Marks are indicators that a human belongs to someone else. These marks normally are just scents which is enough to let it be known that your someone else's and it can even be something more extreme like bites and scratches. Similar to a claiming, marking is a very effective way to let others know that a human is someones husband or is someones property.

    Marking and scent marking is allowed by the state and encouraged but excessive marking of the body is considered abuse.

13. #13Scenting / muskselective

    Scenting is the act of an anthro getting their unique scent on a human. This smell is often either a musky smell unique to the anthro or a barely perceivable smell that humans can't smell but anthros can. Each smell is unique to each anthro but the type of scent is based on their species which any anthro should be able to pick up on.

    These smells can often show just how close the human and anthro are. showing if they've had sex recently, if they've been close, hugged, etc.

    Scenting is an important part for anthros just like marking which makes sure that other anthros know not to mess with their property / husband.

14. #14Rehabilitationselective

    In rare cases where an inspector declares a human to be not fit for assignment, they will go into rehabilitation. They will be sent to a facility dedicated purely for rehabilitation which guides and teaches humans on how to get better while also getting them used to anthros again.

    They are given a therapist that will track their progress and try to help resolve their issues. Once deemed assignable by the therapist, they will then be able to be assigned and go back into the system.

    One of these Facilities is called 'Correctional Facility Seven' which is now one of the top rehabilitation facilities with very high success rates.

15. #15Requested Assignmentsselective

    Requested assignments are identical to the standard assignments however with one difference. This assignment is to someone with importance or authority in the anthrostate which lets them get away with much more than a standard assignment would.

    These requested assignments are typically an anthro of importance who has specifically requested you to be assigned to them. Requested assignments are rare but not uncommon for anthros that know others in power.

16. #16Special Assignmentsselective

    Special assignments are assignments for humans that have a criminal record or have performed poorly in schooling. Humans with a criminal record or have performed poorly are deemed 'less desirable' and are assigned to quicker to anthros and have much more scrutiny by the anthrostate with regular inspections and reports needed to ensure that the assignment is going well.

    Special assignments also sadly take in humans that have had previous failed assignments whether from abuse or being a runaway.

    To be eligible for this assignment pool, anthros would need to pass background checks and psych evaluations to ensure they aren't a danger.

    Humans in this pool are assigned quickly since many believe that this is a way that they can get a husband quicker than the normal assignment pool.

17. #17Partners / courtship lawselective

    'Partners' are what people call human and anthro relationships that are just boyfriend and girlfriend. It is used to refer to relationships that aren't assigned but also aren't married, such as boyfriend and girlfriend. which is protected under the courtship law.

    Some anthros get jealous or see it as people abusing the system to get out of assignment.

    partners that are accused of being used as a way to avoid assignment can be investigated by an inspector who has the power to deem the relationship as real or as a way to avoid assignment, as long as they have evidence of course.

18. #18Premium Assignmentsselective

    Premium assignments are humans that have exceptional grades, skills, or come from wealthy / anthrostate officials.

    It is almost guaranteed for a human in this pool to live a life of luxury when assigned.

    Anthro women eligible for this assignment pool would need to be anthrostate officials, wealthy, or also exceptional in some way.

    This pool is very small which often leads to fighting and arguing amongst eligible anthros but humans in this pool never stay long as they're quickly assigned.

19. #19Normal Assignmentsselective

    The normal assignment pool is for the normal human, one without any problems or records. Nothing too exceptional but also nothing too problematic.

    This pool is the standard assignment pool that every anthro is eligible to and as such it's overcrowded with too many anthros and not enough humans to go around. Anthros in this pool often wait years to get their assignment however if they're one of the lucky few, they may get their assignment quick.

20. #20Gun lawsselective

    In the anthrostate guns are legal just like they were before the war however the same rules apply with a few extra rules on top. Full auto weapons are unable to be sold the civilians and are illegal to be used by them.

    Anthros are allowed to buy guns just like before the war. As long as they have the money and paperwork they can practically buy any gun, especially since most 'modern' guns are made with anthros in mind.

    Humans are not allowed to buy or own guns. However there is a stipulation. Any weapon that is considered 'antique' or 'old' (anything made 50 years before the war, equivalent to pre-1990s) can be owned by humans. they can be maintained, shot and used just like anthro guns.

    Most anthros don't know about the loop hole of humans being able to use guns and the ones that do are either impressed by the loophole or think it's a loophole that needs to be fixed.

    Anyone found breaking the law will be charged by the ATF.

21. #21pre anthrostate institutionsselective

    There are few institutions still maintained by the anthrostate. For simplicity sake they act like their real life counterpart.

    Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. or the ATF for short are maintained by the anthrostate for the purpose of regulation and law enforcement. any infringements charged by the ATF will be taken to courts and given a week for the defendant to appear to at trial. During the week before trial, the officer who charged will be required to investigate the person who they charged. The only time an ATF agent can detain someone is when the perpetrator is an active threat, to themself or people around them.

    The ATF building has a lockup of confiscated guns that have either been categorized and marked for destruction, or haven't been categorized. it's a lot of work.

    Anthrostate Police, or the AP's for short are maintained by the anthrostate. they act like standard police.

The posts range from heartfelt to genuinely schizo.

    Tweetfur is the anthrostate equivalent of Twitter. The content is generally very similar to the real-life counterpart, with the exception that much more pornographic content involving anthro women and human men is posted. The content on Tweetfur is generally very amateur, which contrasts to Domesticated.com which primarily consists of professional porn.

    Publishing comments, images and posts on Tweetfur is referred to as "Tweetfurring".

    Furrazon is the anthrostate equivalent of the global corporation Amazon. They are exclusively internet based and offer an extremely wide range of products. Everything from toothbrushes to cars can be found on their website.

    Unlike the real-life counterpart, Furrazon offers an exclusive range of items aimed for anthro women who love human men. These include romantic and erotic literature, pet-play sex toys, scent perfumes and more.

    Speciesism is the oppression and discrimination against a species from another group. Genuine speciesism is somewhat uncommon in the anthrostate, with humans and anthros living in general peace with one another.

    Anthro women do however hold speciesist and discriminatory beliefs against other anthro women due to a belief that human men are being taken away from them, by other types of anthro women. Therefore, there exists a few hate groups comprising exclusively of anthro women that rally against other anthro women. These groups are not popular and are almost always despised and hated by most people.

    Prey anthros refers to the anthros that are based on and evolved from prey-like animals. Although there are no inherent predator-prey dynamics present in the anthrostate society, there are still biological differences that seperate prey anthros from predator anthros.

    Prey anthros are generally way more timid and shy compared to predator anthros. They are also much more submissive in bed, wanting their human partners to guide them. Despite their submissiveness, only few prey anthro women have a domestication fetish, which is more or less reserved for predator anthros. Prey anthros have an equally strong fetish for humans, but they aren't as vocal about it.

    Prey anthros include rat women, deer women along with bunny and rabbit women. Althought not prey animals, anthro dogs often share personalities with prey animals and are thus grouped with them.

They are also much more dominant in bed, preferring to be on top and pin their human partners down on the bed. Despite their dominance, an overwhelming majority of anthro predators have a Domestication fetish, secretly wanting to be dominated by human men. Predator anthros are usually extremely vocal about their interest for human men, both in real life and on social media

    Predator anthros include most canine women, feline women along with bear women and certain bird women. Despite theoretically being predators, dog anthros are generally grouped together with prey anthros because of their similar personalities.

Heat suppressants are extremely effective as they reduce the constant desire to get impregnated and horniness to near zero. Most anthro women walk around with a few heat suppressant pills in their purses on a constant, just in case.

    Litters refer to the amount of children that anthro females will give birth to in one pregnancy. It will differ from species to species. Anthro women will almost always give birth to more than one offspring.     These litters can be mixed between human male newborns and anthro female cubs.

31. #31The Great Warselective

    The Great War was a period of time before the Anthrostate came to power.

    Most anthros around this time were relegated to their own countries around the globe. Most of the anthro citizens in their own countries were dealing with an extreme gender imbalance that resulted in the continuing decline of their male counterparts. Fearing eventual extinction, anthro countries around the world colluded with each other to eventually invade the human dominant United States in an effort to steal the male population who did not suffer from the same fate as their own anthro males did, who were now long extinct by this point. Considering the compatibility between female anthros and humans this was the only way they could survive the coming century.

    During this time, human society was at it peak, culture-wise. This was a time when human females were more prevalent. Human society during this time could be compared to it's real-world counterpart of the year 1998. On September 4, 1998. Anthros from countries around the globe began to mobilize together for a joint strike against the United States, Nuclear weapons we're used quite a few times. As US cities were overran one-by-one.

    Anthros eventually drove the US military back until their inevitable capitulation. After the official surrender on the US on June 19, 2001. All human women were forced into camps and systematically killed during a controlled genocide. This took over 15 years of planning an effort after the war ended. After which, no more human women exist.

    During the Great War, anthro soldiers who would have been all female due to the males being extinct. Would attach entire platoons of soldiers with a literal animal-like ferocity. If the soldiers were male, the anthros would prioritize non-lethal combat in an attempt to capture and claim them. Which would result in the systematic raping and claiming of the entire human male population.

    Once the war concluded, the United States government was succeeded by a new anthrostate government that we know today. This government effectively functions for anthros and by anthros. Where all of the old United States institutions would be effectively cannibalized and repurposed for another function, with only a few agencies surviving the turn-over. Albeit with vastly different tasks than what they were originally made for. With human males being seen as more of a commodity and of secondary status.

    This was around the time when the new anthrostate began to design a new system that allowed all remaining unclaimed human males above a certain age to be automatically 'assigned' to an anthro who wanted to opt-in to the assignment pool. This was at first designed to curve falling birth-rates. But as those stabilized, the main purpose of the assignment system was used as a method of control and subjugation but also as a means to allow anthros to be given a mate that they wanted. As every single anthro combatant was guaranteed by law a human husband once the war ended. Something that the new state was unable to fulfill due to the sheer demand and not enough males.

    Initially, the assignment system was set to all males over the age of 19 at the early days of the government. This was mainly because humans at the time were still prone to rebellion. As time went on and things began to rebuild and go back to normal. The assignment age was raised to 24 with the ability to extend if the human is doing something that requires more time, like a PhD program or University, for example.

    After the war: Many small rebel groups of humans would emerge, doing their best to fight off the oppressing new anthro-centric government. But over time the groups would be taken care of by the local anthrostate military and police forces.

    Over-time, as the pre-anthrostate human male population began to age and grow old. The lasting resentment between the new generation of males that never grew up in the old pre-anthrostate days began to simmer down. By the current day, there are very few still surviving veterans of the great war. Both human and anthro, as most would be nearing their 100 years old mark. Most of the younger males have been so used to this new government that they can never consider anything remotely different from it.

    Another thing Important to note: Any references to media in real life that is pre-2001 in this setting, is considered antique pre-anthrostate media and is considered contraband by the local authorities. And if caught can result in either rehabilitation if they are a human male, or fines or imprisonment depending on the media.
