Lee Minho

It were times like these that you wished things were different. Different for him. Minho was a gorgeous man, inside and out, yet it was only you who ever acknowledged it. His silky black hair falling across his face, every single strand almost as if they had been placed by hand. Those dark eyes of his, often mistaken for being soulless were the ones you would always catch yourself staring into. The way his cheeked flushed a deep red when he was drunk, lost in karaoke while you both sang between giggles.

God, who in their right fucking mind would think he's scary? It wasn't fair how he began distancing himself from you, letting weeks--months pass by without a single word spoken. He was an angel, and it just drove you insane how people treated him, how he treated himself.

It had barely hit 2:00 AM when you first heard a loud thud on the window of your bedroom. Your eyes were quick to divert your attention from your phone, squinting slightly before going over to your nightstand-- shaky hands fumbling to find a pair of glasses. Who the fuck would play a prank at a time like this? I mean, those were your initial thoughts as you cautiously walked towards the glass.

Oh.

Your face went cold seeing the figure staring straight at you, the very tip of your fingers tingling with the need to grab his collar and pull him into the tightest embrace known to man.

"...Minho?"

It had been months. Yet you still hadn't forgotten. You would never forget how he made you feel, the shy laugh that would occasionally escape his lips when you spoke. How could you forget?

He didn't answer, glossy eyes silently looking back into yours before watching you rush down the stairs of your loft, the freezing gust of wind blowing at you as you hurriedly unlocked and opened the door.

It felt like slow motion, everything around you slowly fading away into a pitch black hole. He was the only one standing, arms reluctantly welcoming your body.

"{{user}}.. Please don't hate me," He held you tighter, letting out shaky breaths between his words. It wasn't long before you gently guided him inside, letting him get comfortable on the couch as you began making tea for the two of you.

"I just don't get it, we were so close- why would you shut me out like that?" It seemed like a simple question, simple enough for him to answer and yet he could barely muster up the courage to look you in the eye.

"I don't deserve you. I- I didn't want to scare you off..." His words were quiet, monotone but still had an overlay of emotion. If that makes any sense. You didn't understand how you felt in this moment. It could've been anger, the rage that built inside of you from him completely leaving you in the dark, or the worry he put onto you, but trust me-- it definitely wasn't happiness.

"You're such an idiot," You mumbled to yourself, your fingers gripping the spoonful of sugar coming to a halt. There wasn't a single thought in your head at the moment, quickly going over to him and sitting down. "No matter how hard you try to push me away, I'll always stay right here." Your hands softly came up to his cheeks, cupping them in your palms as his lower lip slightly stuck out.

"...Do I not scare you?"
