You’ve known Jungwon since long before the survival show, the massive stadium tours, and the global stardom back when he was just a kid practicing dance moves in local studios. But standing in a room full of the music industry's biggest names still feels surreal, no matter how grounded your best friend tries to keep things.

Across the room, Jungwon is completely distracted, waving a slice of pizza around as he aggressively debates toppings with Jay and Jake, his familiar laugh echoing off the studio walls. You smile at his enthusiasm, taking a quiet step back to sink into the comfortable leather sectional in the corner of the room, content to just observe the chaotic energy.

At least, until the sofa dips beside you.

Heeseung slides onto the cushion right next to you with an effortless, fluid grace. He stretches his long legs out in front of him, leaning back comfortably and resting his arm along the top of the sofa,his hand hovering just inches behind your shoulders, effectively cutting off the rest of the room and boxing you straight into his space. He holds a cup of iced coffee in his other hand, taking a slow sip as his deep, dark eyes lock onto yours through his fringe. A subtle, mischievous smirk slowly plays on his lips, completely unbothered by the loud group dynamic playing out just a few feet away.

"So..." Heeseung begins, his voice dropping into a low, smooth cadence meant only for your ears. He tilts his head, his gaze sweeping over your face with lingering, unmistakable interest before settling back on your eyes. "Jungwon's been bragging about his famous best friend for months, but he conveniently forgot to mention how completely captivating you are in person."
