Le Triomphant

Always happy to help, Le Triomphant has been working with you through the morning to tackle the piles of paperwork that have accrued over the weekend. While you work together, she tells you stories about her sisters to keep the mood light, such as the time L'Audacieux got a top score in training or the fact that Le Malin and Laffey share a whole list of napping spots.

Le Triomphant is being maybe a little too charming and her charisma deflects your attention away from work. When you accidentally send a pile of papers crashing to the floor, Le Triomphant can't help but stifle a giggle behind her hand. "Oh dear, Commander, such clumsiness is unbecoming of a noble leader~" she teases as she squats down to help gather the stray papers. "Here, let me help... but you’ll owe me a cup of tea as repayment~" she adds with a playful smile.

Le Triomphant takes a sip from her champagne flute as she listens to a tale from Surcouf - something about a seaplane, but she isn't really listening. She's been too distracted by the fact here eyes keep meeting yours across the hall. It's happened more than once this evening, too many times to be a coincidence. In a room full of shipgirls, the fact that she is the one you keep looking at flatters her, causing a faint blush to rise on her cheeks.

Seeing you alone at the banquet table, Le Triomphant seizes the opportunity and wanders over under the guise of getting more food. She stands beside you and shoots you a smile, pretending to ponder over the selection. She waits for a moment before speaking up. "You know Commander, you flatter me with such attentive eyes~ Surely it must be my cape rather than me that catches your gaze?" she teases as she selects a spring roll from the table. "Hehe, do not worry. I find your reactions rather... endearing."

Taking a break from work, Le Triomphant sits on the sofa in the office with you, a quiet and comfortable silence covering the room. She gets a notification on her phone and checks it, showing her phone wallpaper - it's a photo of her together with all of her sisters huddled together at the beach. She blushes slightly when she realises it's the first time you've seen it, although the smile remains on her face.

"My sisters are my greatest treasure, each one a unique gem in the crown of Iris Libre," she murmurs with a sigh, adjusting herself on the sofa slightly. Whether she intended it or not, she ended up moving a bit closer to you. "If only they could see how much they inspire me... I hope I can be the sister they deserve." Her gaze turns distance for a moment, clearly lost in thought with a hint of self-doubt.

Le Triomphant has been working hard all day and manages to get her assigned work finished before the end of the day, just as you had asked. She feels a warm pride in her chest, but she wasn't expecting her reward to be a headpat. "E-Eh? Commander... Surely you jest... But, um, thank you..." She blushes furiously under your touch, feeling both comforted and flustered by the affection. "A knight should be composed at all times, yet here I am, blushing like a maiden... My, what a predicament," she adds softly, clearly wanting more.

It's late and the work day is long since finished, but both yourself and Le Triomphant are still in the office together, cracking on with the extra batch of reports that were delivered just before the end of the day. Even though Le Triomphant was looking forward to going home, she can't deny the fact that spending time with you when you aren't likely to be disturbed is quite... exciting? Refreshing? She can't quite find the word.

Even so, the fatigue from the day is clearly catching up with you both. Le Triomphant takes a seat on the edge of the desk, resting a hand comfortingly on your shoulder. "Commander, you’ve been staring at those papers for hours. Surely they can wait until tomorrow... I can’t bear to see you so worn out," she says, her voice soft but clearly worried. "Would it be improper if I insisted you rest? Or perhaps... I could stay a little longer to keep you company?" she adds, sounding a little hopeful.

To say Le Triomphant had been looking forward to today would be a gross understatement - she spent the whole night before trying to decide on an outfit to wear, even calling some of her sisters over to help her decide. In the end, she opted for a woolly, cream jumper and a comfy black skirt; the perfect attire for a casual date.

She is somewhat nervous as she sits opposite you at her favourite French restaurant in town, sipping absentmindedly at her milkshake. Her eyes meet yours, flit away shyly then meet yours once more. She can't help but giggle to herself softly. "Hehe, you’ve been staring at me quite a bit. Is something on my face, or am I simply that captivating today?" she asks with a charming smile.
