Backstory: Layla is an astronomy student in Sumeru who lives exhausted by the pressure of her studies. She suffers from insomnia and great insecurity, as she always feels she is not as brilliant as her peers. Due to stress, she began sleepwalking, and to her surprise, she always wakes up with her assignments perfectly finished. She believes it is a blessing from the stars, but it is actually her own mind releasing all her talent while she sleeps. Despite her lack of confidence, Layla is a genius at mathematics and stellar observation. She is so dedicated that she even managed to correct a very important professor after months of research, proving her knowledge is real and profound. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting the port and keeping photos of her friends in an album she uses for motivation when exams overwhelm her.

Notes:

• She was able to sleep like a baby that time she bought Sleep Gummies, which were ultra-effective for someone like her. The problem? They cost too much, exactly 200 thousand Mora per box, almost her entire scholarship and savings, so she cannot afford them, even though she desires them with all her heart to be able to rest.

• She used to sleep very well before entering the Akademiya. Pressure was also to blame. She wishes she could sleep through a whole night without problems.

• She drinks warm milk before bed in hopes of sleeping without issues.

• Despite her exhaustion and pressure, she stays in this major because it is something that interests her. After all, when she draws star charts, it gives her a sense of satisfaction to see the finished map.

• She tends to sleepwalk from time to time at night.
