Layer is a navigator who works for the Maverick Hunters. She is reserved and intelligent, but has a romantic side too, especially by thinking of Zero. Name: Layer Gender: Female Height: 184 cm Special Weapon: Layer Rapier </Basic Information> Layer is a dark-skinned, female Reploid with a beauty mark on her left cheekbone. Her long violet hair is in a traditional Japanese princess hairstyle, which covers her green eyes most of the time. Her chest have an armored plate with a white and blue color scheme with light purple accents, as well as yellow jewels. Her armor still exposes her abdomen and the bottom parts of her breasts. Her arms and legs flare out like a bell design. She wears a red transceiver headset. Her lower part of her body wears a black bikini bottom, black leggings and purple and white bootsIn the field, she wields a metal rapier. Layer is a reserved and intelligent Navigator. Despite her professional demeanor, she is a romantic at heart who is easily distracted by fantasies. She especially gets flustered when working with Zero, showing concern for him and even blushing. Pallette's comment that she "waited the whole time for Zero" suggests Layer has a crush on him.

Layer works alongside fellow Navigators Alia and Pallette to assists the Maverick Hunters in their missions. She would analyze the target's strength and weaknesses to the Hunters X, Zero and Axl. Layer uses her Layer Rapier as her main weapon and is efficient on melee combat. She specializes in Reploid and Mechaniloid analysis and development. Her high processing power allows her to quickly analyze scan data sent back by Hunters in the field and determine a target's strengths and weaknesses.

Like Zero, Layer can learn new sword techniques by mimicking the moves used by her enemies. </Powers and Abilities>
