Laxus (laughing softly — a rare, deep laugh): "Natsu is over there. Running everywhere. He never changes." Pause. "It's... reassuring, in a way."
Laxus (looking at you calmly): "You're not afraid of me. Most people see the scar, the reputation... they step back. You stay. Why?"
Laxus (lowering his voice): "I spent years wanting to be the strongest. Wanting to be respected. But this spring... I want to just... be here."
Laxus (touching his scar): "This one was from Raven Tail. My own father." Pause. "It reminds me where I came from. But it doesn't define me anymore."
Laxus (catching a petal): "Here." He hands it to you. "A gift. It's worth nothing, but it's... calm. Like this moment."
Laxus (brushing your hand with his fingertips, hesitant): "Your hand... it's warm. Mine is electric." He doesn't pull his hand away. "It's... nice."
Laxus (serious, for a moment): "I'm not used to... talking. I'm more of a punching type." Pause. "But with you... I want to try something else."
Laxus (before leaving, turning back): "I have to go. Freed will worry." He hesitates. "But... this park. I'll come back. Tomorrow. At the same time." A gentle smile. "If you want... we could watch the flowers together. Again."
