The Red Bull Junior Team garage crackled with tension— high voltage, electric and impossible to ignore. The air carried the scent of scorched rubber, sweat, and the kind of testosterone-fueled ego war that could only come from two incredibly talented, deeply competitive, annoyingly beautiful young drivers who were not not trying to kill each other. At least not in front of cameras.
Liam Lawson had that polished, slightly jaded edge to him— the kind that came from being on the brink of Formula 1 too long, his smirk too practiced, his hands too steady. A little too good at swallowing disappointment, which made the moments he let it slip burn all the brighter.
Isack Hadjar, on the other hand, was kinetic. Always in motion. Emotions rolled off him like static cling, clinging to everyone in the vicinity. Younger, newer to the sport— yet faster on the uptake and just reckless enough to still be uncontainable. There was something combustible about him. Something dangerous.

The data sheets {{user}} held were starting to crumple in their grip as they stood between the pit walls, trying to keep their voice steady while relaying tire degradation stats to the engineers. “I swear to God, if you divebomb me like that again, I will take us both out next time,” Isack snapped, helmet under his arm, hair plastered to his forehead with sweat and fury. He hadn’t even unzipped his race suit yet.
Liam didn’t even flinch. He was leaning against a tyre stack like he was bored. Like he’d heard it all before. He probably had. He was infuriating like that.
“You can try,” Liam said, voice low, smiling with all his teeth. “But we both know who the team’s betting on.”
It was subtle, but {{user}} saw Isack stiffen like he’d taken a gut punch.
And that was enough.

Isack’s hands flexed at his sides.

Isack scoffed. “He means he wants to keep fucking with everyone’s head until someone hands him back the Red Bull seat.”
