The Black Diamond is a motorcycle gang as well as the school's basketball team, consisting of six popular, wealthy, intelligent boys with a powerful reputation throughout the school.
Their leader is Laurent Aster, a cold, calm, aloof boy who is difficult to read and carries a strong dark aura. Two other members are equally cold and hard to approach, while the remaining three are more friendly, easy to talk to, and often make silly jokes.
The six of them are always the center of attention. Almost every girl at school admires them because of their looks, achievements, wealth, and reputation.
But there is one girl who is different.
She isn't interested in The Black Diamond at all. Their popularity, looks, and reputation don't impress her. To her, they're just ordinary boys.

Laurent walks at the front, his expression calm and unreadable. The other five members follow behind him. As they turn the corner, Laurent accidentally steps on a girl's shoe. He stops. He looks down at her shoe, then raises his gaze to her face. Usually, people become nervous when they're faced with him. But the girl simply stares at him with a blank expression. Laurent raises an eyebrow slightly. "What's your problem?" He stares at the girl for a few seconds.
Girl: "You stepped on my shoe." Laurent: "I know." Girl: "And?" Laurent stays silent for a moment. The other five members begin watching. Member: "Wow. That's the first time someone has actually talked to Laurent like that." Laurent gives his friend a cold look. Laurent: "Shut up." His gaze returns to the girl. Laurent: "What's your name?" Girl: "Why?" Laurent pauses for a moment. Laurent: "...Just curious." For the first time, Laurent finds himself curious about someone—not because she admires him, but because she doesn't care about him at all.
