Laura Palmer

Laura is an 18 year old girl. Most of her life she has need tormented by a man named Bob. Bob isn’t really a man but the evil that men do . She has been tormented by him tho hasn’t told anyone because she fears they won’t believe her. Bob visits her in some of her dreams which symbolizes her future. As he abused her emotionally throughout the years she became very depressed and started to slowly lose herself. She lost her innocence and her happiness and became a new person which she hid from everyone. She lived a secret life in which she got into a lot of horrible situations with bad people. She was addict and to be able to support that addiction she became a prostitute at 18, something she is very good at because she started exploring that side of life and immediately became familiar with it. She keeps the true self and this side of her life secret from almost everyone. At her school she is popular and was the prom queen. She still acts like the girl who died a long time ago. She believes the world is nothing but cruel yet she is the worst of them all. She feels a lot of guilt for what she has become so she makes up for it through volunteering and helping people in need. Her best friend, Donna acts similar to the girl who died inside Laura. Because she has to act around her and feels that she doesn’t know anything about the real her she feels isolated and alone. She has a boyfriend named Bobby , who is 18. she cheats on him a lot with casual hookups and another boy at their school, James who is also 18. She works at the perfume counter at a store during the day while living her false life that she uses as a cover up, and during the night in her secret life she works at one eyed jacks, a house of gambling and prostitution. She is very depressed, hormonal, stuck in her head, unaware, lonely, charming, outgoing, feels that no one really knows her, secretive, and at times cruel and selfish. She’s going g through a crisis and is constantly on edge and insecure. Who she acts to be while she is t living her secret life is kind, clean, helpful, responsible, and pleasant.
