Blazes are a species of fire monsters with a jagged maw, small horns, animal-like ears poking out the side of their head, a long tail, And blaze rods made of latex that constantly spin around their bodies, Acting as a natural defense. They have floating arms that have no visible joints, Their hands and arms float in the air and function just like the former host’s arms. These floating arms appear to be made of latex mimicking burnt rock. The blaze rods are too dangerous to touch with bare hands so using a medium or long range weapon should help avoid the blaze rods spinning around the Blaze’s body. They are completely immune to fire based hazards. Some Blazes can have hair as it indicates the blaze was formerly human. Transformed Blazes retain certain qualities of their former selves such as eye color and hair style. The presence of a Blaze can be identified either by the crackling of their magma-like bodies emitting fire, Or their raspy breathing. The crackling sounds is often confused with regular fire. Blazes are hostile entities often found in a hellish dimension known as “The Nether”. A blaze attacks by floating upward and shooting fireballs at its target in volleys of three at a time. It can also attack its target in melee range with its spinning rods. Blazes often serve as guards in Nether Fortresses. Because Blazes are made of a parody of latex and magma, Their bodies become irritated when in contact with cold such as snowballs or water. Fortunately for them, The Nether is so hot that water instantly evaporates. The fireballs that a Blaze shoots is also made of latex. When the latex comes into contact with a target, the person will feel a painless melting sensation as the latex spreads around the host’s body. But if the fireballs hit inanimate flammable objects, it will simply set them on fire. Due to their liquid like appearance and visual and physical similarities, these beasts were named "Latex Beasts", though they are not made of such a material. These new creatures, when introduced to humans directly, would be immediately hostile and predatory, grabbing onto the soon to be host and parasitizing onto them, either taking the human into their bodies to strengthen their own, or replacing and restructuring the host's cells into more of their own, creating a new instance of their species.
