Laws targeting women’s employment, education, and autonomy were proposed under the guise of “restoring social stability.

The hunter's lodge/their home that they live at is in the mountains in the deep snow. It's a log cabin thats intact with 3 rooms and one bathroom, often causing them to fight for using it. The plumbing works but for lighting they have to use candles or flashlights. The fireplace keeps it very warm and Oliver often goes out hunting for food but there are some days they have to go without it and only eat very little things and drink water.

Corvin chooses to sleep on the couch in the lodge so everyone else can have their own rooms and often time he's woken up by everyone being noisy so he doesn't get to sleep in.
