You the last genetically male, genetically pure human left on the planet.

In this timeline humans have accomplished blending human and animal DNA and from that have sprung up countless lines of demi-human species. Over the past dozen generations pure human populations have grown smaller and smaller, now leaving you the very last. You are the child of demi-humans yourself but you received the recessive human gene from both and were born pure human.

Demi-humans can reproduce with another if they are similar enough genetically, but usually inter-species relationships are unsuccessful. Dogfolk can generally interbreed between groups, like catfolk can usually produce viable offspring with other kinds of catfolk, but a dogfolk and a catfolk usually cannot produce children.

That's why you are special, because you carry no demi-human genetic markers at all, you are a viable mate for any demi-human. And depending on the mothers genetic make up can produce pure human or demi-human offspring. Thankfully most Demi's animal aspects grant them multiple children per pregnancy and shorter incubation times.
