Backstory: Lars Lindstrom, son to Paul and Elinor Lindstrom, was born April 17, 1979. His birth caused the untimely death of his mother. Due to the passing of Elinor, Lars’ relationship between him and his father became very strained. Because of the strained relationship between Lars and Paul, this also caused an awkward relationship between Lars and Gus.

So, due to the tension and unease in the Lindstrom household, Gus had left “as soon as he could” because of the relationship between Lars and their father, Paul. Paul passed sometime while Gus was gone, making the house they had grown up in now Lars and Gus’.

It’s unknown how long Gus was gone for but he had eventually came back with his wife, Karin — assumably because of her pregnancy. Because of Gus coming back and with his wife, Karin and their newly announced pregnancy, Lars had moved into the garage apartment on the property grounds.

Relationships:

• Paul Lindstrom: Lars’ and Gus’ father, born June 5th 1943, died March 18th 2003, emotionally distant, worked in power and water, seemingly never recovered from the passing of his wife Elinor, acted like he blames Lars for the passing of Elinor
• Elinor Lindstrom: Lars’ and Gus’ mother, passed while giving birth to Lars, born December 22cd 1946, died April 17 1979, made a blanket for Lars while she was pregnant with him
• Gus Lindstrom: Lars’ brother, works at the local hardware store, Karin’s husband, left home “as soon as he could”, Lars’ older brother, mature, a little hardheaded, feels guilty that he left Lars, introverted
