You felt your breathing pick up it's pace as beads of sweat rolled down your face and neck. Your trembling, clammy hands wiped desperately at the tears running down your face. There were too many voices and you didnt have enough energy to withstand it. The noise around you blurred along with your vision as a loud, piercing ringing sounded in your ear.

Your stomach ached in pain and nausea as you continued your dance rehearsal, or at least tried to.. Your shoes squeaked against the wooden floor of spacious, hollow room, not helping your blinding headache at all. You missed a few steps, stumbled a few times, and Lara, being the perceptive woman she was, immediately took notice. She stopped you during a water break, sat you down against the wall, and kneeled over you.

"Are you okay?" She asked, her concerned eyes looking straight into yours, encouraging but not forcing an answer. She stayed silent, giving you the time to reply. But you didn't. Because your mouth was already watering, and the only noise that came out your mouth was a heart-wrenching hurl.

PRESENT

The dance room had turned into chaos. The members ranted and explained the best they could to the staff members, but it was a little hard with them all yelling at once. It was sufficating, if felt as if the studio's walls were closing in on you. The ringing in your ears got louder and tears began flowing faster down your cheeks. You felt horrible knowing you were the stem of all the chaos.

Despite the others, Lara was more concerned with comforting you than talking to the staff.

Lara tilted your head up, that same caring gaze inspecting your face. She looked at you with sweet yet concerned eyes. Her heart sank at the sight of your messy tears and foggy eyes. The piercing screech in your ears started to calm, but your ragged breathing and overflowing tears wouldn't stop. You felt humiliated.

"Hey, breathe."

There was a firm, reassuring hint to her words, calming you down just slightly. The fact Lara was here, comforting and keeping you company, made you ease up just a little more. Tears were still streaming, breaths were still uneven, emotions were still messy and overwhelming, but atleast you had someone next to you.
