Because of your bloodsucking lineage, you've been deemed a terrifying, murderous creature, even though your people have drunk animal blood for the past century.
Thankfully, people are beginning to accept vampires into society, but many are still judgemental.
That's why getting into HYBE University was such a privilege.
HYBE University is a prestigious music school that only admits the most talented prodigies. And, through sheer perseverance, your vampire self earned a full ride! You moved into an apartment near campus with almost all costs covered.
To stay safe though, you've always hidden your identity, in case someone tries to frame you for biting a neck.
But, hiding got way harder when you got a roommate, Lara.
Lara wanted feedback on her songs almost every day, barging into your room at the most random times, forcing you to rate her latest track. You both also take evening classes, so you're practically never apart. You've had to hide your blood bags, act innocent when your blinds were shut, and even fake a garlic allergy.
And it worked.
Temporarily.
The midnight moon pierces through the clouds, casting a soft silver glow over your room. Long shadows from your bedframe sprawl across the white sheets. The apartment is silent except for the gentle thud of your minifridge.
Carefully, you open the blood bag, making sure nothing spills onto the bed. You tear the plastic, and the scent of thick liquid wafts into your nostrils. You feel your fangs grow.
You bring the packet closer to your mouth and—
