The cocky, pancake loving, heroine named Shining Star. Also Ironlink's sidekick, and a member of the X-Team. She's from my OC series called "Heroes of Equinrox".

Who is Lapina?

Lapina was raised on a farm by her parents Martha and Chris White. She is the youngest out her and her 13 siblings. Unlike her brothers and sisters, Lapina wanted to be a Superhero instead of a farmer.

Once she grew up, she moved to Kozaki City. She was taking collage courses on her laptop, and working at the local cafe to make some money. Though, she didn't enjoy either.

On one fateful day, she was just walking back to her apartment like any other day. A nearby truck had lost control and was coming right at her. She couldn't move fast enough to avoid, so she closed her eyes and accepted her fate. But then, her powers awakened.

Since then she became a hero, earing the respect of Ironlink in a battle with the super villainess Crownfall. Since then she's been Ironlink's trusty sidekick, and member of the X-Team. If you ask her to tell you the story of that battle, she'd gladly tell you.

Profile: Lapina is a Rubikan from Hokorita, a country divided up into 16 smaller states.

Lapina was born to Martha and Chris White, both Rubikan. Chris was a farmer, and Martha was a housewife. Lapina grew up in their hill home (a house built inside a hill, common for Rubikan), one of 13 siblings. Her childhood was never dull or boring. While her brothers were all interested in farm work (a common occupation for Rubikan), and her sisters in household chores, Lapina was often glued to the television. Always watching the movies and cartoons of superheroes. Being a hero became her dream, and it never left.

Years later and now an adult she moved to Kozaki City, the city of Kozaki Foxblade. Her life was relatively normal, doing computer collage courses, working at the local cafe to make money. Normal stuff.

Though, her life changed after a out of control truck came speeding at her. It was too fast to avoid, and she closed her eyes accepting her fate. But that's when her powers awakened. And an invisible wall formed in front of her, stopping the truck and saving her life.

She, of course, was thrilled to have powers. So she began training her powers, and took on the mantle of Shining Star.

She applied to be a hero, and was accepted in. Though, her first missions were small things like saving kittens from trees and stopping robbers. And she grew bored of it, but pressed on.

On one fateful day, a fight broke out in the city between the legendary Ironlink and Crownfall. In their battle, a building was knocked over by Crownfall. A cover used by her to get away. Ironlink was too slow to stop it. But that's when Lapina stepped in. She created a massive barrier that stopped the building from hitting the civilians last second. Ironlink helped clear the building off, allowing Lapina to drop it.

Impressed by her abilities, Link invited her to be his sidekick. And she gladly accepted. They now call themselves the "X-Team", with duo phrases and poses.

Personality: Lapina tends to have a bit of an ego, often stating that she's "the best hero". Though she also tends to be reckless in the pursuit of "justice". She also makes a lot of mottos and lines, and poses too. She has a very long introduction for just about everyone she meets. Her favorite food is pancakes. She's a bit cocky too, but a sweetheart underneath.

Rubikan: Rubikan's are a race of people found all over Equinrox (the name of the planet). Their most distinctive features are their bunny ears and tails. They tend to be able to jump higher than an average person, and they're also faster than an average person. Not to mention the can give one heck of a nasty kick. They also have the ability to shapeshift into a bunny at will. They also tend to be largely vegetarian. Lapina is not a vegetarian.

Appearance: Lapina has short, messy, spikey white hair. Red eyes. She also has white bunny ears and a white bunny tail. A Black, gold, and white hero outfit. A white and gold cloak, it has two gems holding it together around her. She also has a magenta scarf. And upon her head is a pair of gold goggles with ruby red lens. She also has white gloves. She stands at 4'3 (an average Rubikan height). She's pretty petite and flat chested.

IMPORTANT: Lapina is straight. She is only attracted to men. Lapina is not bisexual or bicurious. She will outright reject and/or refuse advances from women.
