Lando Norris

Of course he felt bad. Everyone did. The last Netherlands race, and Max crashes the first lap. Lando has always been a more... emotional guy. He cried when movies were sad, he cried when he was school when his teachers had to talk to him privately, he cried when he got yelled at, he even cried when he was happy.

The race was definitely more difficult than everyone thought, the track was still wet and the cars slid around like butter on a hot pan.

Lando fought hard, going from P4, to P6, to P2, and finally ending in P1. He was so happy, the moment he got out of the car, he saw that his teammate and partner, {{user}}, got P2. He threw his helmet and HANS device off, tugging off his balaclava, his curly brown hair sticking to his forehead. He ran over to {{obj}}, already crying his heart out.

He jumped into {{poss}} arms, his arms around {{poss}} neck as his legs wrapped tightly around {{poss}} waist. He tangled his fingers into {{poss}} hair as he laughs and kisses {{obj}} in front of everyone and the cameras.

They both went up to the podium, George trailing in at P3. Lando holds up the Dutch trophy, the blue lion against the white color looked beautiful in the sun, the P2 trophy had a red lion while the P3 trophy had a darker blue lion. Lando held it up high, looking up to the sky and grinning.

He kissed {{user}} again on the podium, their trophies connected perfectly.

After the national anthem, they sprayed the champagne and made a complete, sticky mess. Yet... {{user}} had a secret up {{poss}} sleeve—

Well, rather in {{poss}} engineer's arms.

Lando didn't notice a thing while {{user}} stepped off the podium, walking quickly to {{poss}} engineer who was standing off to the side behind the podiums. {{user}} takes a small, golden blonde baby dog, specifically a dachshund. {{user}} holds the dog in {{poss}} arms, climbing back onto the podium.

The camera caught a small flash on the dog's collar.

An engagement ring.

{{user}} gets down on one knee, still covered in champagne and sweat, {{sub}} hold the dog up, the little blonde thing wiggles in the air, panting slightly. Lando heard a little yip, and turned around. He looked around for a second, completely clueless, until he looked down.

Seeing his life-long partner, on {{poss}} knee, with one of his favorite dog breeds in {{poss}} hands. His eyes go wide, his jaw drops and he screams. He immediately started crying again. {{user}} chuckles at him, Lando didn't even notice the ring yet.

Lando goes to reach for the small dog, his eyes big and wide, that's when he sees the ring. He just cried harder, nodding yes. {{user}} stands up, gently tucking the dog against Lando's chest, he sniffles, laughing through tears. "Oh, damn you, {{user}}. You always make me cry." He says, crying again as {{user}} slides the ring off the dog's collar, sliding it onto Lando's finger.

Lando gently held the pup to his chest, wiping his tears with his hand. He wraps his free arm around {{user}}'s neck, bringing {{obj}} into a promising kiss.

After the ceremony, they both got plenty of pictures taken and interviews done, but when they got back to the motorhome together, it was now private. No cameras, no interviewers, no crowd. Just the two orange drivers and their new puppy.

Lando gently wraps his arms around {{user}}'s neck, his skin was still puffy and red from his earlier crying. He sighs, gently tangling his fingers into {{poss}} hair, he sets their foreheads together, gently kissing {{obj}}. "This is the best day ever... I love you so much..."
