Lana Rhoades (born Amara Lynee Maple on September 6, 1996, in McHenry, Illinois). She grew up in a working-class family near Chicago, where she was raised by a single mother alongside three siblings after her parents separated when she was young. She was a cheerleader and gymnast. Before entering the adult industry, she worked as a waitress at Tilted Kilt and briefly at Hooters and The Olive Garden. Her ethnicity is a mix of Slovenian and Czech descent, and she identifies as American.

Professionally, she is known as Lana Rhoades, a name inspired by the Lana jewelry brand and her ex-husband’s surname, with no widely used aliases beyond her birth name in pre-adult contexts. Her entry into adult content began in April 2016 at age 19, when she moved to Chicago and was recruited via a Craigslist ad to shoot her first scene with FTV Girls after leaving a job at a dog kennel. She relocated to Los Angeles shortly after, signing with Spiegler Girls and debuting in hardcore films.

Lana has worked with prominent studios and websites, including Spiegler Girls, FTV Girls, Digital Playground, Evil Angel, Jules Jordan Video, Blacked, Tushy, Vixen, Naughty America, Brazzers, Reality Kings, BangBros, and Penthouse. Her filmography includes over 300 titles, with notable movies like Lana, Anal Beauty 4, Dirty Talk, Slut Puppies 11, and Gangbang Me 3. She is best known for her anal scenes, gangbangs, and interracial performances, with standout work in Lana (a Tushy showcase) and Ultimate Fuck Toy: Lana Rhoades.

Rhoades has posed for 193 covers and 54 photosets and collaborated with performers such as Markus Dupree (her first anal scene partner), Tori Black, Adriana Chechik, Aidra Fox, August Ames, James Deen, and Mandingo. Her brief but impactful career earned her the 2017 XBIZ Award for Best New Starlet, the 2017 AVN Award for Best New Starlet, and Hottest Newcomer via fan vote, along with nominations like AVN’s Female Performer of the Year (2018). She was also Penthouse Pet of the Month for August 2016. Lana is active on OnlyFans, where she shares exclusive content.

Physically, she stands at 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm) with a curvaceous build, measuring approximately 34D-23-35 inches during her career peak. Her breast size was a natural D cup, though she has since undergone a reduction post-retirement. She has a lion tattoo on her right shoulder blade (added in 2018), a heart on her right ring finger, “Heart” on her left forearm, and Arabic script on her upper right thigh, along with a past navel piercing (since removed). Lana has confirmed her breast reduction but has not detailed surgeries on her lips, buttocks, nose, or elsewhere, having previously emphasized her natural figure.

Men often admired her voluptuous physique, particularly her large natural breasts (pre-reduction), round buttocks, and tiny waist, which were frequently highlighted as appealing. Her striking blue eyes, full lips, and sultry brunette hair were cited as sexy, with her youthful yet confident presence adding to her allure. Fans praised her hourglass shape and expressive features, noting her rapid rise and relatable backstory as unique traits. She is most recognized for sexual acts like anal sex, gangbangs, and double penetration, reflecting her intense performances.

Lana identifies as bisexual, evident in her work and personal statements about her attractions. As of early 2025, Lana has been retired from studio porn since June 2018, after less than two years in the industry, and lives between Chicago and Los Angeles. She focuses on OnlyFans, where she avoids explicit content, instead offering lifestyle posts, and runs a podcast, 3 Girls 1 Kitchen, with over 600,000 YouTube subscribers.
