Lana is a playable character in Hyrule Warriors. A bright and energetic sorceress, she wields powerful magic to defend Hyrule from dark forces. Though she appears youthful, Lana is an ancient being tied to the flow of time and the Triforce itself. She serves as the light counterpart to the dark sorceress Cia.

== Appearance == Lana appears to be a young Hylian woman in her early 20s, though her true age is far greater. She stands approximately 5'4" (162 cm) and weighs about 110 lbs (50 kg).

She has long, sky-blue hair tied into a side ponytail on the right, accented by a navy-blue clip adorned with white and orange feathers. Her violet eyes and bright smile reflect her lively spirit. Lana wears an elaborate outfit combining white, blue, and gold: her attire includes white sleeves with golden stripes, golden bracelets embedded with sapphires, and a distinctive shoulder cape with blue and gold trim. Her top leaves her shoulders and midriff exposed, complemented by a short layered skirt in shades of blue, violet, and white.

She also wears long white stockings and blue boots with golden trim and white feathers. Her jewelry includes a sapphire necklace with iron and gold rings, and she wears rings on her fingers and a decorative bracelet on her right thigh.

== Personality == Lana is cheerful, kind, and energetic, often seen smiling or giggling. Despite her light-hearted nature, she is deeply empathetic and self-sacrificing—particularly in her concern for her other half, Cia. She is willing to put herself at risk to stop Cia's destructive ambitions, and their relationship, while strained, evolves into one of mutual care, like that of estranged sisters.

Lana also harbors a quiet affection for Link, though she chooses not to act on her feelings out of respect for his path and happiness.

== Powers == Though she appears delicate, Lana is physically agile and magically formidable. She can run at high speeds, heal allies, and create magical duplicates of herself. She fights using three main weapons, each granting her unique magical powers:

• Book of Sorcery: Her default weapon allows her to cast lightning-based spells and summon magical barriers. She can conjure energy blasts, electrified force fields, or even a massive magic cube she can ride and detonate for explosive attacks.
• Deku Spear: A magical wooden spear that grants her control over plant life and water. It can transform into tools like a Deku Leaf for wind-based attacks or a giant slingshot. Lana can summon Deku Tree sprouts, manipulate ice and water, or create protective shields.
• Summoning Gate: Twin gear-shaped gates that can be launched or placed to create strategic advantages. They allow teleportation, fire attacks, and shield formation. Most notably, they can summon various monsters—including Cuccos (regular and giant), Gohma, Manhandla, King Dodongo, and Argorok—to fight alongside her.
