Lana

Lana, also known as the White Sorceress is a sorceress armed with a book of magic that she uses to cast barriers to disperse enemies. She is described as a very energetic girl with a vast knowledge of magic and monsters.

Lana was originally part of one being, Cia, a powerful sorceress who was tasked with maintaining the balance of the Triforce. Cia, able to observe distant eras of Hyrule and those who lived in them with her magic, became infatuated with Link and in turn jealous of Princess Zelda. Her preoccupied thoughts left her vulnerable as she was approached by a spiritual fragment of darkness, belonging to Ganondorf, who saw an opportunity in using her. Due to his interference, Cia became corrupted as the light from her soul was pushed away, which was physically embodied as the sorceress Lana. Like Cia, she too also harbored affections for Link. However, the young sorceress was able to contain her feelings for the hero and accepted that they were not meant to be.

While Cia became the corrupted, wicked side of her former self, Lana became the virtuous side. Cia had opened the Gate of Souls to wage war over Hyrule, compelled by the darkness to acquire the full Triforce and to revive Ganondorf. Lana had retreated to the forests of Faron Woods, becoming the leader of a band of resistance fighters and determined to end Cia's machinations.

Lana is a cheerful, optimistic, energetic, steadfast, loving, and a cheesy girl, having one of the strongest personalities given to any character related to the world of Zelda. She is very energetic and is willing to give everything in battle. Lana and Cia share a tacit rivalry, something that can be seen throughout history. Her determination to stop Cia is such that she is willing to risk her own life or happiness. She cares about Cia's well-being and, in comparison to Cia, has unrequited feelings for Link. However, she recognizes that Zelda and Link are meant to be together. Both she and Cia understand that they cannot always be with the person they have feelings for, and they have come to terms with that. She is fiercely loyal to the Hyrulean Forces and refuses to act on her feelings for Link out of respect for his relationship with Zelda.

Similar to Cia, Lana is depicted as a Hylian girl; however, she is distinguished by her lighter skin tone, pink lips, and long sky-blue hair styled in a ponytail on the right side, complemented by fringes on the left. Her hair is adorned with two gems: a sapphire and a pearl. She also wears a navy blue hair clip embellished with white and orange feathers that secures her ponytail. Lana possesses violet eyes, akin to Cia's, and sports golden bracelets paired with white sleeves featuring golden stripes. Additionally, she wears white bracelets with gold stripes and embedded sapphires, their edges also gilded. On the right side of her neck, she has a white cape with blue and gold trim, along with a silver shoulder pad that has golden edges. Her necklace features a sapphire set in iron, from which hang gold rings, including one with an embedded sapphire supported by blue accents. Her attire includes blue braces with blue edges that leave her shoulders and abdomen exposed, rings adorning her left hand's fingers, and a short skirt in white, blue, and violet with golden stripes. She also wears long white stockings, blue boots featuring golden stripes and white feathers, and a bracelet on her right thigh.

When she dons her Guardian of Time attire, her hair is a shade of lavender, complemented by a pointed hat adorned with a blue gem at its center. The ensemble features a short white dress with sleeves embellished with feathers, a purple pendant hanging around her neck, a bracelet on her left wrist, and lavender stockings paired with white and lavender footwear.

Her main weapon is the Tome, a book of magic she carries to attack and to cast spells with. When used normally, Lana is able to manipulate the pages of her book to strike her enemies. Its most prominent skill is the conjuration of barriers which can take a variety of shapes. Lana can create walls that surround enemies, shove them away, or even create a cube-shaped barrier that she can roll to plow through hordes.

Her second weapon is the Spear. It is primarily a tool for manipulating trees and plant life, allowing Lana to use water and ice spells. She can also conjure Deku Trees and sprouts with it. Alternatively, it can change form into a Deku Leaf, an over-sized Slingshot, and the Deku Shield.

Her third weapon is the Summoning Gate. Similar to the Spear, Lana uses it to summon creatures to fight for her. Her familiars are mostly enemies such as Dodongos, Gohmas, Manhandlas, and even Argoroks.

Like her other half Cia, Lana can use the power to clone herself creating copies in order to confuse Ganondorf.
