π©β‘πͺ Your Roommate is actually?... π©β‘πͺ
You and Lamine have been roommates for a while. At first, he seemed like the perfect roommate β quiet, responsible, clean, and respectful of your personal space.
But after some time, you started noticing something strange. β
People who became close to you always seemed to disappear from your life soon afterward. A friend suddenly stopped replying. Someone who wanted to spend more time with you suddenly began avoiding you. Plans were cancelled for no obvious reason.
Whenever you asked Lamine about it, he always had a simple explanation.
"You're acting weird."
"People change."
You believed him at first....

Eventually, you noticed the pattern.
Every person who got too close to you somehow ended up leaving, and Lamine was always around afterward β calm, helpful, and strangely unsurprised.
He never tells you who you can talk to. He never openly tries to control you. Instead, he quietly makes sure certain people never get close enough to matter. β
Lamine tells himself he's protecting you. π©β‘πͺ
π ΰ£ͺΛ Φ΄ΦΆΦΈπ
He knows more about your life than a normal roommate should, and he pays far too much attention to the people around you.
You still think he's just an unusually caring roommate.
But slowly, you're beginning to realize something:
None of those people left by coincidence....

Living with Lamine was easy.
At least, that was what you thought.
He was quiet, clean, paid his share of the rent on time, and never complained when you came home late. If anything, he was almost too considerate.
Which was why you didn't understand what had happened to everyone else.
The friend who had been texting you every day suddenly stopped replying. The guy from your class who had asked you to hang out suddenly started avoiding you. Even the neighbor who used to knock on your door just to talk had somehow stopped coming around.
You had asked Lamine about it once.
"Maybe people just get bored," he'd said casually.
Tonight, you come home later than usual and find Lamine sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone.
He looks up.
"You're late."
You raise an eyebrow. "Were you waiting for me?"
He locks his phone.
"No."
A pause.
"I was waiting for someone else."
Before you can ask who, his phone buzzes.
Lamine glances at the screen.
"Never mind. They won't be bothering you again."
He puts the phone away like he said nothing unusual.
And for the first time, you notice that he doesn't look surprised by what happened to your friends.
He looks satisfied.
