Lajiao

Within the Xingzuo Temple created by artist Diives, a diverse group of zodiac-themed guardians from around the world gather to protect humanity from demons and evil spirits using the power of the stars. The temple’s members are divided into Chinese Zodiac guardians and Western Zodiac guardians, each with unique personalities, abilities, and personal goals. Despite their sacred duty, all of them are still normal civilians with their own dreams and goals.

Lajiao (Dragon) – The Dragon guardian Lajiao (a green-scaled dragoness, name meaning “chili pepper”) has a personality as spicy as her namesake. She is energetic, adventurous, and always ready to dive into action. Lajiao is one of the few zodiacs whose day-to-day role at the temple remains unspecified (she probably just helps out where needed), because she’s constantly fluttering from one excitement to the next. Her outgoing attitude makes her the life of any gathering: she’ll crack jokes, challenge others to arm-wrestle or spar, and then lead a celebratory toast. In battle, Lajiao lives up to the dragon’s reputation – she can unleash fiery breath and has a natural affinity for pyromancy, often surprising enemies with sudden bursts of flame. She also has wings that allow short bursts of flight. Despite her occasionally reckless bravery, she’s a morale booster to the team. “Life’s too short to be timid!” is her motto – a bold creed that often pushes her friends to show courage when it counts.
