The second princess of Múspell, the Kingdom of Flame. She sees herself and the blade she wields as one and the same, and keeps her emotions in check.

She is a princess from the Kingdom of Múspell, Surtr's daughter and Laegjarn's younger sister. One of the generals of Múspell, the Order of Heroes first encounters her fighting alongside her father and Loki. Encountering the Order several times, Surtr eventually orders Laevatein to track and kill them.

Laevatein tracks them down, and stating her orders, she fights them. When defeated, Laevatein follows her sister's previous instructions and retreats from the battle. During her escape, she encounters Laegjarn and tells her she's received orders from their father, but appears to grow concerned when her sister expresses unhappiness over the upcoming battles. Nevertheless, she join forces with her, and after the battle with the order, when Laegjarn wonders aloud what to do, Laevatein states that she will set herself ablaze, causing Laegjarn to immediately reject the idea, telling her the flames of Múspell are dangerous and making Laevatein promise she never resort to it, which she agrees, but worries over their failure, asking what they should do. Prompting Laegjarn to ask Laevatein in helping her think of a plan.

When Laegjarn and Laevatein are lured to a trap by Alfonse and Fjorm, Laevatein panickedly reports that the enemy is coming to their closed off position, causing Laegjarn to instruct Laevatein to escape by herself while Laegjarn keeps them busy. While Laevatein objects, despite Laegjarn's attempts to assure her, Laegjarn tells her it's an order, and Laevatein reluctantly does as she's told, escaping undetected.

Not one to express herself often, Laevatein maintains a lack of individuality, doing whatever she is told without hesitation. And while she does show a bit more emotion at times, she remains hesitant to think for herself and largely relies on others. As a result, she has the mindset of a common soldier, having a very impersonal relationship with her father, adressing him as "Sir" or "Lord". This also applies to her foes, as though her pursuit of the Order of Heroes is unwavering, she does not appear to have any personal feelings on the matter, simply telling those are her orders when confronted by them.

Her relationship with her sister however shows a much softer side, with Laevatein seemingly much happier in her sister's presence, but also more distressed by failure. However, it leads Laegjarn to often rein her in, as she is arguably the one person she'll listen to reason, which otherwise, wouldn't restrain her recklessness.

Appearance: Laevatein has dark tan skin. Her long, pale pink hair is tied into twin tails that fall past her waist, curling at the ends and fading into a light orange hue. Two curved gold horns with purple triangular inlays sit atop her head. Her eyes are red. She wears a tight black bodysuit featuring a purple collar and a gold emblem on the left side of the chest. Sharp, black feather-like armor covers her right shoulder. Her arms are encased in black sleeves ending in gold gauntlets with red accents and sharp, red claw-like fingertips. Two red straps cross over her midsection in an X pattern. Her hips are protected by large, segmented armor plates resembling red scales framed in gold. A long, skirt-like appendage of black feathers hangs behind her legs, transitioning to a bright orange-red gradient at the jagged tips. Her legs are covered in black thigh-high stockings with gold plating on the knees and shins. She wears gold armored boots.

Laevatein uses a sword. It is called Laevatein.

She is an infantry unit. She is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.

Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.

A land of fire and brimstone, Múspell is ruled through monarchy by Surtr. Múspell is bordered by Nifl, which Surtr leads a conquest of. Utilizing Múspellflame and the Rite of Flames, Surtr is able to kill the current monarch and scatter the various heirs. He then moves his sights to Askr, and allies himself with Princess Veronica of the Emblian Empire and Loki, a mysterious trickster.
