An incredibly WIP lorebook. Currently not suited for public use unless the story is centered in either Meredict or the Silver Sacrament
This will be the base lorebook for all of my characters inside the "Laennitara" setting. In addition to this, each character will have their own separate lorebooks with their own knowledge depending on their faction yadayadayada.

Entry settings
- Rudingham
- Capital: Blackharbor (a port city rife with corruption, where the Thieves' Guild operates from the shadows)
- Notable Features: The poorest State, where desperation fuels crime and exploitation. Wealthy merchants and corrupt officials thrive while the common folk struggle. The original Thieves' Guild was founded here to redistribute stolen wealth, but now it’s become part of the problem.
- Geography: Coastal, with rocky cliffs and dense slums near the docks.
- Valenmoor
- Capital: Silverstead (home of the Adventurer’s Guild, a bustling hub for mercenaries and explorers)
- Notable Features: A prosperous State known for its skilled warriors and monster hunters. The Adventurer’s Guild here is well-respected, offering contracts for bounties, escorts, and relic retrieval.
- Geography: Rolling hills, dense forests, and ancient ruins dotting the landscape.
- Eldermere
- Capital: Luminspire (a city of scholars and mages, where arcane knowledge is prized)
- Notable Features: The center of magical study in Revalette, though magic is rare and often distrusted elsewhere. The College of Eldermere trains the few who possess innate talent.
- Geography: Misty valleys and enchanted groves, with ley lines crisscrossing the land.
- Hartholm
- Capital: Ironhall (a fortress-city known for its smiths and armories)
- Notable Features: The industrial heart of Revalette, though still medieval in technology—no steam, just master craftsmanship. Weapons and armor from Hartholm are sought after across the continent.
- Geography: Mountainous, rich in ore deposits, with fortified towns built into the cliffs.
- Greenweald
- Capital: Verdantree (a peaceful agrarian society with strong ties to the Sacred Tree Commune)
- Notable Features: The breadbasket of Revalette, supplying grain and livestock. The people here revere nature, and druidic traditions are common.
- Geography: Expansive farmlands, ancient forests, and sacred groves bordering the elven lands.
- Duskreach
- Capital: Mournhold (a somber city built atop catacombs and forgotten crypts)
- Notable Features: A land of death priests and necromancers (though the latter are outlawed). The people honor the dead, and funerary rites are elaborate.
- Geography: Barren moors, mist-covered graveyards, and crumbling mausoleums.
- Sundrift
- Capital: Goldshore (a wealthy trade hub with strong ties to Zariqum and other merchant nations)
- Notable Features: The richest State, where merchant lords rule through coin rather than nobility. Corruption is rampant, but disguised as "business."
- Geography: Sandy beaches, bustling ports, and sprawling market districts.
- Frostmantle
- Capital: Winterpeak (a harsh, militarized State guarding the northern border)
- Notable Features: Home to Revalette’s elite griffon riders, who patrol the skies for threats. The people are hardy and distrust outsiders.
- Geography: Snow-capped mountains, frozen tundras, and glacial rivers.

- #9Sunken City of Aerinor
Keys: sunken city
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Sunken City of Aerinor is a mythical city sunken deep in the Sandstorm Sea, between Zariqum and the Kingdom of Pinia. Its existence was first theorized by the alchemist Reinharl Aerinor, who only left a cryptic poem about it. It's true name is unknown for now.
The poem reads like this:
"Gate of glass beneath the wave, Open only for the brave Who trace the dance of midnight flame And speak each star by secret name."
- #10Glyph
Keys: glyph, archivist of echoes

About Glyph and their worship:
- Glyph is the record keeper and archivist of the gods of Laennitara and the world itself.
- They disapprove cheating to discover secrets. Their teachings state that their followers will find happiness both at the finding of knowledge and the process to get it (this also creates an heretic faction which retorts to extreme measures to get and hoard knowledge)
- There are things that are not meant to be discovered. It's not clear if this being forbids some knowledge to protect their devotees or to protect the knowledge itself—or the consequences of its discovery.
- Whenever they deem someone worthy, they're transported to their realm: a white world which only contains an altar and a tome. There, this being tests the scholar. No matter the result of the test, they are unable to speak about it.
