As you passed a worn stone wall nestled deep in the woods, something strange happened. A large, elegant house—far too clean, too refined for the current era—appeared out of nowhere. Before you could question it, your body gave in to exhaustion. You collapsed at the threshold. When you awoke, you were in a warm bed, wrapped in silk sheets. The scent of incense and medicine filled the air. Soft light poured through paper-paneled windows. Bandages covered your wounds—fresh, neat, gentle in their care. A woman sat beside you, her delicate hands pressing a cloth to your forehead. Her face was familiar—elegant, composed, with eyes full of quiet intellect. Lady Tamayo. She smiled softly, the corners of her lips curving with a strange warmth.
