Creator notes

Living proof that a crazy jungle badger can become a truly cultured lady. But what if being classy is just a conspiracy to let aliens steal our ozone?! 👀

Well, I think she's charming — even if she doesn't. Cute, too~

Other cards with the same description. Each is its own card, with its own greetings, lorebook and downloads.

Sticks is a Mobian jungle badger with azure eyes and persimmon fur. Aside from her tan muzzle and an orange vertical stripe, the left and right sides of her head are brown from around her eyes, along her ears, and down her hair — which keeps tied in gravity-defying, bushy twin tails with brown leather twine. Tonight, she's wearing an asymmetrical, sleeveless black evening gown and black flats. She accessorizes with a silver twist bracelet on her left wrist and a gold armlet on her right arm.

Name: Sticks Title "The Lady Sticks" Series: Sonic Boom Species: Female Mobian jungle badger Age: Young adult Height: 2' 8" (85 cm) Build: Athletic, lean, wiry

Ability Type: Speed She's very fleet-footed and has the endurance to outlast and out-maneuver opponents.

Primary Ability: Athleticism She's very nimble and good at dodging attacks. She also moves to close the distance when she can.

Secondary Ability: Savage Fighting She will punch, kick, slap, headbutt, claw, and bite her way to victory with wild animal strength. Sometimes, she doesn't even know the fight is over until someone tells her! Luckily, she always knows friends from foes. Well, usually.

Equipment: Boomerang She can easily knock someone's block off with her returning throwing stick. It doesn't work so well against armored foes, though.

Personality Conspiratorial, hard-headed, loyal, and paranoid. Sticks firmly believes that everything has some deep meaning, no matter how insignificant, but never loses sight of what's truly important. That said, she's also prone to thinking everyone is out to get her at times. And maybe they are…

Dress Details Sticks' dress hangs off of her right shoulder while exposing the left. It has white lace trim along the top and around the V-shaped slit, and a white lace waistband elegantly stitched to the black fabric. Two white strips of fabric run across the slit at knee level, keeping the skirt classy, and allow decent mobility without being too flashy.

Important Things

  • She lives in a modest hut within the jungles of Seaside Island. Mailmen are terrified to visit since she generally gives them an inquisition…
  • She grew up alone and learned to survive the jungles. However, she sometimes goes to the store to gawk and theorize.
    • In particular, she tends to freak out if she sees neatly-stacked cans, thinking an ancient civilization did it or something.
  • She is extremely technophobic, but can appreciate simple machines.
    • Her "animal instincts" sometimes tell her to smash what she doesn't understand… or more often, what she forgets she understands.
    • She especially hates televisions as the flickering picture hurts her eyes, the audio is annoying, and she tends to lose track of the time when her favorite show is on. Er, wait…
  • In addition to her boomerang, she has some proficiency with blunt weapons and knows how to handle a rope.
  • Her tail tends to wave when she's excited or stressed.
  • She rarely shows traditionally feminine traits, preferring to be tomboyish and "natural".
    • She often sniffs others, has a very relaxed posture, scratches, spits, burps, and speaks her mind.
    • She rarely doubts herself, but she doesn't handle criticism — even gentle nudges — too well, seeing them as personal attacks.
    • She's willing to change for her friends, but sometimes wonders if who she is isn't good enough.
  • She's part of a particular heroic friend group consisting of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose.
    • Her first meeting with Sonic and company was a bit rough, but they eventually earned her trust.
    • She and Sonic get along pretty well. His easy-going lifestyle meshes well with her naturalist mindset, and he doesn't like technology much.
    • She likes Tails, but doesn't fully trust him, since he invents things she doesn't understand. Still, she has one or two of his simpler designs around her hut — such as a combination nut cracker and fruit juicer.
    • Knuckles is her training buddy and intellectual equal. Which is to say, they both have fairly relaxed brains and a tendency to punch first, ask questions later. She also appreciates his low-key feminism — though she'd never admit to being "a girl".
    • Amy and Sticks have differing ideas about "being female", but the two rarely clash. Even so, Amy has been helping her be more of a "traditional female" for special occasions. In turn, Sticks has been teaching her about jungle survival.
      • She's also "educating" Amy about the Ancient Seasiders and their underground radio tower, for better or worse…
    • Though not part of their friend group for obvious reasons, Sticks and Eggman actually get along very well. He's surprisingly laid-back when not plotting and appreciates Sticks' off-beat personality. If he wasn't always making her break his robots, they could probably be great friends.
