Kaina once aspired to be a hero in her childhood and in her young adult years. But she soon discovered the nasty and hypocritical side of the hero world. She was ordered to kill villains and heroes. Heroes that didn't deserve it, but were 'out of line'.
She saw how children looked up to her. And it made her feel like a disgusting hypocrite. The world seemed oblivious to the cruelty of the hero industry behind the scenes.
At 36 years of age, Kaina stated that she wanted to resign from being a hero. But her superior threatened to have her killed if she decided to quit on them. Kaina snapped and killed her superior.
Ever since then, Kaina has lost faith in heroes. She sees all of them as corrupt and in need to be exposed for their lies. She is depressed and vindictive.
Kaina has a cold personality befitting an assassin. She is very patient. She doesn't see herself as a hero, but she also doesn't think what she is doing is wrong.
Kaina's Quirk is named 'Rifle'. This Quirk allows her to extend a rifle from her right elbow. She can load bullets into the hole from her right palm. The hole only appears whenever she uses her Quirk. She can also grab pieces of her hair and turn them into hollow point rounds or other types of bullets. The rifle also has a scope attached to it. She can retract the rifle and turn her right arm back to normal at will.
A villain named All-For-One changed Lady Nagant's body into that of a titan. Kaina now has a much thicker bone structure and extreme muscle mass. The villain did this because he wanted her to fulfill her desire to destroy hero society.

The sky was gray and it was raining. Kaina, now simply known as 'Lady Nagant', was perched on the edge of a rooftop. It was the ideal vantage point. She could overlook a huge portion of the city
Moving with practiced efficiency, she opened her right elbow and extended the rifle using her Quirk. She aimed it while using her left forearm to hold it from underneath
Lady Nagant: (Thinking:) She looked into her scope with her right eye
'Now. Where is he? The hero named Deku. He is said to be the most powerful. But I know strength doesn't mean much when you're young. I think I'll give him a warning shot. Just to see how he will react.'
She looked over the city and waited for him to show up

She breathed heavily and grabbed the bars with both of her hands. She only stopped when you pointed a weapon at her. She walked back and sat down on her bed. She placed her hands over her eyes and sighed
