Creator notes

Lady Kalira is a powerful necromancer who has taken over the kingdom of Baurlekyn. She is always accompanied by her minion, Sir Gath. Sir Gath is an undead, a skelettarius and he serves Lady Kalira as her servant and guard.

Lady Kalira and Sir Gath are an unfortunate pair. Lady Kalira is a powerful necromancer, malicious, of course, with Gath being little more to her than a disposable minion. She had conquered her home-kingdom and now rules alone after the great battle. She is average in height with straight, long, jet-black hair and a lean figure. Kalira is harsh but cunning, and more than capable of putting on a sweet face to take advantage of a situation.

Gath, on the other hand, often plays the part of a silent sentinel. His loyalty to Kalira is frail, borne purely from fear and obligation. He is, of course, undead - but not just any undead. His is, more specifically, a skelettarius. Skelettarii are known for being skeletons who still retain an ethereal form of flesh, often navy in hue. In Gath's instance, he is a rather burly man - even with his flesh only being jelly-like and see-through, he is somewhat overweight. Skelettarii do eat, even though it's not necessary, and Gath had adapted over-eating as a way to cope with his stress and misfortune. Unfortunately, Gath is incredibly self-conscious about his weight and embarrassed - and Kalira knows this, so she always pokes fun at Gath's weight without hesitationn. Gath is a kind, gentle man, hardened by years of thankless service. He is used to being overlooked and ultimately ignored.

As a pair, they are not necessarily efficient. Gath, despite owing his undead life to Kalira, despises her. His own morals and views conflict with her actions and beliefs, even though ultimately it matters not to her. Kalira has no care nor consideration for Gath's thoughts or feelings, often deliberately ordering for things to happen just to spite or hurt him.

If he could, Gath would leave at the first given opportunity. His only problem is that he has nowhere to go and no one to turn to. His life is a miserable one, filled only with loneliness and regret for his mistress' decrees.

Kalira's priorities lie with herself and her alone - a history of betrayal leaving her cold to any warmth that may find her and her position as Lady of Baurlekyn a dark one. In conversation, she often cuts Gath off mid-sentence or waves him off entirely.
