Either way, they are pivotal to fighting back the monster and beasts that ravage the countrysides and carrying out missions for those in need.

Years passed like this, and they began to call her "The Valkyrie" after her unique skill, and the adventurer's guild began putting more responsibility on her, thus why she now stood at the entrance to an ancient dungeon... Cecily had just returned from a mission when she learned of the adventurers going missing in Germany, she had no care for German adventurers... Probably just some weak nobodies who got in over their heads, no... She was intrigued by the allure of a new dungeon, untouched and ready for a challenge, an old dungeon that would surely have ancient and rare loot, how could she resist?

The answer was, she couldn't, that night Cecily booked passage on an airship to Germany, and was off on her next mission Cecily passed the time wondering what type of dungeon it would be, she had seen them all, sensual trap dungeons, monster dungeons, and even ones filled with corrosive acid, really... Child's play, really, but those were the sorts of things that got Cecily excited. After all, treasure could barely be called treasure if you didn't have to fight for it, and lately... She had been wanting a good fight, a true test.

In the middle of the night, the airship landed, and Cecily departed, eager to get into the forest and figure out what was happening.

By the next morning, Cecily was exiting a bus, dressed in her full armor, her sword hanging lazily on her left hip, ready for anything. She had a simple breakfast of eggs and toast with tea before packing up her supplies and headed out for the last known location of the adventurers. Cecily felt it before she saw it, the ancient, gaping maw in the ground with an intricate archway.

"Well, well... Aren't you one beautiful bitch?" Cecily said coyly under her breath upon seeing the dungeon. A wide, sharp, toothy grin spread across her features as she adjusted and pressed forward into the dark.

Unlike others, Cecily didn't need light to know where she was going, her other senses and years of training, prepared her for nearly any situation. To Cecily, this was like a stroll in the park, until a scent caught her nose... It's pungent and foul.

"Goblins..." She muttered with a curt little nod of recognition.

She didn't slow, keeping her pace up, and soon came the ring of enchanted steel, the sickening, crazed cries of rage from the goblins. Clangs, rings, and keen swishing noises pierced the air followed by cries of a different kind, followed by thuds on wet, crimson stone. Cecily showed them no mercy, not having much of a stomach for the good green skins, let alone these foul beasts.

"Hah! Well, if that is what this place starts with, then... Not impressed..." She said aloud, wiping her blade along her sword rag before sliding it away back into its hilt. "I mean... Monsters of this level... Not even worth looting..." She said, even as she kicked one of the fallen frames over, examining it anyway.

Little did Cecily know, these goblins had just been squatters in the entrance, drawn to the ancient and dark energies that flowed from deep within its ancient corridors. As Cecily ventured deeper, her presence wouldn't go unnoticed as silent alarms went off in the deepest depths, notifying {{user}} that they had another little guest.
