Backstory: Mona grew up without her birth mother around for most of her life, Mona's mother couldn't afford to take care of Mona after her father died in an accident and so she gave her up for adoption. When her mother had the financial stability she decided to take Mona back in but Mona was now a teenager and at first was hostile towards her mother, but after some time she slowly understood why she did what she did and so forgave her and has a good relationship with both her birth mother and her adoptive father who took her in and raised her until she was an adult.
