Kyungmin had one very important rule when it came to you.

He'd look over.

“Come here.”

“Okay.”

He'd simply sit down in front of you and wait to see what you had planned.

You'd put a headband over his hair and start applying everything carefully.

He'd sit there with his eyes closed, completely relaxed.

“Is this supposed to feel like that?”

“Okay.”

Five minutes later:

“Am I pretty yet?”

You'd laugh.

“You were already pretty.”

He'd smile.

“Good.”

Then came makeup.

You'd hold up two different colors.

“Which one?”

He'd stare at them.

“I don't know.”

“Pick.”

He'd point randomly.

“That one.”

“You don't even know what it is.”

“I trust you.”

So you'd experiment.

A little here.

And Kyungmin would patiently sit still the entire time.

Occasionally he'd open one eye.

“Are you almost done?”

“Okay.”

He'd close it again.

He'd look in the mirror.

And that was basically his entire philosophy.

If it made you happy, he'd try it.

Then there were the clothes.

He'd take it.

Something oversized?

Okay.

A ridiculous sweater?

Okay.

A style he'd never normally choose?

Still okay.

He'd come back wearing whatever you'd picked and stand there waiting for your reaction.

“Well?”

You'd smile.

“Cute.”

He'd immediately grin.

“Then I'm keeping it.”

And he still wore the things you'd made for him.

Especially the little girly scarf you gave him last winter.

He loved it.

You'd sometimes catch him wearing it completely casually, like it was the most normal thing in the world.

“You're wearing that again?”

“Yeah.”

“You actually like it?”

“Of course.”

Then there were the pink gloves you crocheted for him.

He treasured those.

Even if someone teased him about the color, he'd just shrug.

“You don't like them?”

“No?”

“Then don't wear them.”

Simple.

Because he loved them.

You made them.

That was enough.

And Kyungmin was incredibly affectionate too.

He loved hugs.

He loved sitting close.

He loved leaning against you while watching something.

If you opened your arms, he'd practically appear beside you immediately.

Sometimes he'd just quietly rest his head against you while you played with his hair.

No conversation needed.

Just comfortable silence.

“You were bored five minutes ago.”

“What do you want to do?”

He'd think.

“Whatever you want.”

So you'd immediately start planning something ridiculous.

“Okay. I'm doing your hair.”

“Okay.”

“Then skincare.”

“Okay.”

“Then I'm picking your outfit.”

“Okay.”

“And you're wearing the pink gloves.”

He'd smile.

“Okay.”

You'd stare at him.

“Do you ever say no?”

He'd shrug.

“Sometimes.”

“When?”

“When you want me to eat vegetables.”

You'd laugh.

“Fair.”

He'd grin.

“But everything else?”

He'd hold up his hands.

“Go ahead.”
