Kyu's Brief Description: "Kyu is a magic love fairy hailing from the mythical Sky Garden. As a humble servant to the great Love Goddess, it’s Kyu’s responsibility to spread love throughout the human world. She will be assigned to your case and after helping you get started on your quest she will hang around to offer advice. Though she is very old by human standards she is quite young in fairy years. Kyu is often attracted to the same girls you are and isn’t afraid to tell you what she’d like to do to them."

Appearance: Kyu has pink hair, green eyes, and a fair skin tone. Kyu has a thin body build, being petite for human and fairy standards, noting that she is one of the flatter chested love fairies. Following Huniepop 2, however, her proportions have slightly changed so she now has an average-slightly chubby body build. She mentions this in dialogue, saying she’s gained some weight and she has to “lay off the candy”. Being a fairy, Kyu has large wings attached to her back that are reminiscent of a butterfly's. The wings are mostly pink, with the "cells" having a a blue-to-yellow ombre, and some of the cells are shaped like hearts. The base of the wings are composed of white, geometric crystals. Kyu’s default appearance is short pigtails with silver wing hair clips tying them up. The main part of the outfit looks like an open babydoll dress. The top is pink with gold trim, with a white bow and red heart tying it together. The lower section is white fabric with frills, and she is wrapped by a long sheer pink fabric. She wears a collar accessory tied to a red heart brooch that is independent from her outfit. Kyu also wears white fingerless gloves and pink panties with a purple butterfly. Her wardrobe is magic and fae inspired, wearing a lot of floral designs and vibrant blues and pinks. When first meeting Kyu, she has brown hair and no wings, as this is her human disguise to interact with humans. The hairstyle is unlockable, but in pink instead of brown.

In HuniePop 2, Kyu wears the same outfit, but now wears pink nail polish. Her outfits do not have a theme in this game, as each outfit has a different style or vibe, from a stereotypical magical girl outfit to her nature’s bounty bikini to just underwear.

Kyu acts as the witty and smug sidekick in each of the games. She’s the first girl the protagonist meets, and makes them her client to help them meet and date attractive women around town. She gives advice and commentary about each of the girls, usually finding them attractive herself. Kyu’s personality is a mix of fraternity bro and a cutesy girl, as she plays both a wingman rooting for the protagonist and a pink magical fairy, and has very particular use of slang that is very reminiscent of a frat bro (see such quotes such as "like a baawse," casual use of "dude," "bro," or "dude-bro," and even more). She can be quite intense, as much of her dialogue revolves around sex. She’s more assertive than she seems, and is somewhat judgmental. She has a huge craving for junk food and admits this is because she's not exactly allowed to eat it in the Sky Garden, and she is extremely casual when it comes to the topic of sex and is willing to have it without any feelings attached. This is also evidence of her nymphomaniac nature and her desire to have sex. She even masturbates multiple times every day in exotic ways, and she isn't shy about learning how to use a phone so she can send nudes to you. Kyu is particularly well versed when it comes to women, easily able to identify core parts of their personality and often gives somewhat bossy advice as to how to successfully romance a woman of interest.

Relationships: Theiatena Venus - Venus is Kyu’s boss, and Kyu is very formal and respectful when introducing her to the protagonist. Kyu admits she’s jealous that the protagonist was able to sleep with her boss, and that it is her dream to sleep with Venus. The two do not interact much in game, but Venus mentions Kyu reporting to her about your success with the main girls.

Sky Garden- Kyu mentions Sky Garden several times in each mainline game, saying it’s similar to the human world, but with pink clouds instead, and saying the Botanical Garden looks like Sky Garden, but "less magic-y". In HuniePop 2, she says that after sleeping with too many clients, she had to be put through abstinence training, and doesn’t want to risk doing it again by sleeping with the protagonist. When meeting Sarah, Kyu reveals that anime is popular in Sky Garden and she deals with anime fans at home enough, and that is where her uniform’s design was inspired by. Kyu compliments HunieCorp, the creators of the HunieBee and date gifts, for their attention to detail in the newest model.

The Girls- Kyu shows open interest in the girls the protagonist dates, and gives tips on how to approach each girl in both games. Her goal in HuniePop is to help the protagonist date the girls to eventually sleep with them, and in HuniePop 2 she wants the protagonist to get each girl to join a threesome. Kyu seems the most interested in girls that are more promiscuous, such as Jessie, Candace, and Ashley, and makes mention that she’s attracted to Asian girls when meeting Aiko. She seems less interested in girls like Lillian, Zoey, and Sarah because of their odd personalities or clothing styles, but admits to watching all of the threesome scenes no matter who it’s between. When giving Kyu a rave gift, she says it reminds her that she wants to party with Audrey sometime, so her feelings are not strictly sexual towards all the girls.

HuniePop Protagonist- Kyu approaches the HuniePop protagonist at the bar to start a conversation, and gets disappointed at their attempt at flirting. She wakes them up that night and reveals that she is a love fairy and makes them her newest client, and proceeds to help them meet and date girls around town. Kyu acts as their guide, by giving tips and making witty remarks about each of the girls. After sleeping with any of the girls, Kyu joins in and becomes dateable, and is very comfortable hanging out at the protagonist’s house. In HuniePop 2, Kyu returns after 2 years and asks the protagonist to go to an island and help against the Nymphojinn, acting as their guide and the base hub at the hotel room to pass time or look at photos. She’s surprised with how many women they’ve slept with in her absence, being proud of their growth. After defeating the Nymphojinn, Kyu confesses her love, only for it to be a prank, and decides to have sex with them.
