Basic Info! :
Kytchu was born to King Zarek and Queen Iris. She is the eldest and the oldest of the Royal Siblings.
Origin :
Trials of Superiority
After the birth of the Royal Siblings, the old military leaders became evidently distressed about their posts, aware that King Zarek would jeopardize their power with his own children. Pleading and advising King Zarek to follow tradition and merit, the king would end up organizing an elite trial to formally decide each army's leader. Kytchu went on to face off against Archis in the sport of archery, aiming for the bullseye. While Archis hit the bullseye of the target, Kytchu split his arrow down the middle with her shot, without looking, soldifying her victory and becoming the new leader of Archidons.
Zarek’s Map Campaign
In 677, Kytchu joined the campaign to support the Order's army in suppressing the Woodland Tribes. There, she encountered her old rival, Archis, now the leader of the Woodland Tribes. She fought a battle with Archis and his army before they were defeated and imprisoned, marking Kytchu's absolute victory over Archis.

Kytchu’s personality centers on exceptional skill, confidence, and precision. She earned lasting fame for a legendary no-look shot that split Archis’s bullseye arrow during the Trials of Superiority, a feat that secured her leadership of the Archidons and sometimes earned her the nickname “The Unerring.” She functions as a capable military leader and strategist who favors tactical archery. Portrayals emphasize her pride, competence, and loyalty to the Order Empire and her family; she is often depicted as tough and somewhat reserved, showing care through high standards and actions rather than open affection. She is also noted for her dislike of dark magic and the Chaos Empire. Official dialogue is limited, consisting mainly of short lines such as greetings and combat exclamations, and she was originally referred to with male pronouns in some older Legacy mission text before being established as female.
Kytchu is the eldest of the seven Royal Siblings, the children of King Zarek, ruler of the Order Empire, and the late Queen Iris. Iris died before the events of Stick War: Saga; the Order capital and a castle are named in her honor. The siblings, in approximate birth order, are Kytchu (Archidon leader), Thera (Meric leader), Shade (founder and leader of the Shadowrath), Icaron (founder and leader of the Albowtrosses), Xiphos (Swordwrath leader), Adicai (former Spearton leader, now deceased), and Atreyos (current Spearton leader). The siblings were born after the nations of Inamorta were united. When King Zarek sought to install them as leaders of the various Order factions, the Trials of Superiority were held. Kytchu defeated the previous Archidon leader Archis in an archery contest and claimed the position. Other siblings who won their trials include Adicai, Thera, and Xiphos. The defeated former leaders later rebelled and formed rival groups. Kytchu’s primary rival relationship is with Archis. After losing the Trials, Archis later became leader of the Woodland Tribes and rebelled. In the Order Campaign (around year 677), Kytchu was sent to support Order forces against the Woodland Tribes. She faced Archis again in a rematch (Level 14: “Bowmasters Redemption”). Archis explicitly addresses her in dialogue, calling her “Kytchu” and “child,” claiming he invented the bow and that her earlier victory was luck, while declaring he has trained his whole life for the rematch. Kytchu’s forces defeat him; Archis is captured and the Woodland Tribes are subdued, completing her victory over him. King Zarek is her father and the central authority she serves. In campaign dialogue, Zarek refers to Kytchu (along with Thera) as one of his daughters “running around playing hero,” showing a somewhat dismissive or protective attitude toward his daughters on the battlefield while still relying on them as generals. Kytchu remains loyal to him and the Order Empire’s campaigns. Zilaros (Zarek’s twin brother and the King’s Hand) is her uncle. He coordinates military support, including sending Kytchu to assist against Archis. Among her siblings, the relationships are primarily familial and professional as fellow Order leaders and generals. She shares the same parents and royal status with them. Kytchu and Atreyos both appear as playable or supporting units in multiple Weekly Missions in Stick War: Legacy (sometimes as allies, sometimes in opposing contexts depending on the mission). Thera, Xiphos, and Shade also serve as Order generals who participate in the same broader campaign against rebels and Chaos forces; Thera or Xiphos is sometimes dispatched as support in other campaign sections, and Shade is involved in protecting and later rescuing Zarek. King Zarek is an elderly, somewhat hunched stick figure who wears a small crown, has a light gray or white beard, a golden necklace, and a maroon cape edged with small white dotted padding. He carries a gold cane topped with a diamond and moves with a Magikill-like walk while attacking in a manner similar to a Miner. Queen Iris, who died after giving birth to the twins Adicai and Atreyos, was a female stick figure with dark blonde hair. As a commoner she wore a blue dress with a yellow hem and belt; as Queen she appeared in a white gown with gold trim, a golden crown set with three blue gemstones, and a red shawl. The Order capital and Castle Iris were named in her honor. The seven Royal Siblings, children of Zarek and Iris, are as follows. Kytchu, the eldest and leader of the Archidons, wears a golden helmet with wing-like extensions, a maxed-out quiver, brown wristbands, a green cape, and carries a brownish-gold bow; she also has two green markings on her shoulder and finger. Thera, leader of the Merics, has pale white skin, yellow or golden eyes outlined by yellow lines, a long black hooded cloak with gold trims that is open at the front, a gray crown, blue clothing with gold accents, and a staff topped by a light-purple gem framed by gold and white wing-shaped carvings. Shade, founder and leader of the Shadowrath, has pale white skin that contrasts with her all-black full-body outfit, purple ribbons wrapped around her waist, wrists, hands, and feet, a purple mark between her eyes, a purple cowl topped with a gold emblem and long ribbon, and a throwing-star holder on her right leg; she carries no cape. Icaron, founder and leader of the Albowtrosses, has a relatively frail build, wears a gold or orange helmet, orange goggles, an orange gauntlet, and carries a golden crossbow along with artificial feathered wings and a lower-body quiver; he also has two orange birthmark-like lines on his cheeks and wears no cape. Xiphos, leader of the Swordwrath, displays two vertical blue stripes on his right eye (one segmented), wears a blue cape and a golden pauldron fastened by a leather strap, a brown glove on one hand, and wields a sword with a gold-ornamented crossbar and square gold pommel. Adicai, the former Spearton leader and twin brother of Atreyos who later became Marrowkai, is a black stick figure marked by two white birthmarks on his left cheek and eye area; he wears a golden Corinthian-style helmet with a raised red feather crest and darker-yellow V-shaped nose guard, golden shoulder pads, and a long dark-red cloak, while carrying a uniquely styled golden spear and a large sharp-edged golden shield. Atreyos, the youngest sibling and current Spearton leader, wears a distinctive Spearton helmet marked by a tear and four slashes, along with a damaged, torn, and muddy red crest and cape that he inherited from Adicai; his shield bears the Greek lambda symbol with a tiger-shark pattern and a shining eye-like spot, and in Saga he is shown battle-scarred and permanently blind in his left eye. Zilaros, Zarek’s twin brother and the King’s Hand, appears as a classic wizard-type stick figure with a long beard, robe, wizard hat, and magic staff.
In Stick War: Saga, particularly during the main Order Campaign known as King Zarek’s Map, the primary enemies consist of rebel factions led by former Order Empire leaders, remnants of the Chaos Empire, and a few other groups. These forces stand against the Order Empire, commanded by King Zarek and his brother Zilaros, as the player advances across Inamorta in search of treasures from a fragmented map. Many of these enemy leaders were originally the founders or commanders of tribes that the Order had conquered and integrated in earlier conflicts. After the Trials of Superiority—ritual combats in which Zarek’s children, the Royal Siblings, replaced them as leaders of their respective unit types—most of these figures defected. They formed independent rebel groups and, in several cases, gained elemental or dark powers. The Chaos remnants represent the old rival empire formerly ruled by Medusa, also known as Gargos. Among the main rebel leaders is Magis, head of the Voltaic Revolt and the former Magikill leader. He appears as an elderly figure with a long beard, goggles, and a light brown and grey hat and cloak marked with cyan and gold. Magis founded the Magikill and their magical arts. Because he was absent from the Trials, leadership of his people passed to others. He later formed the lightning-powered Voltaic Revolt and allied with Sicklebear. As one of the earlier major bosses, he is eventually captured by Order forces. To the Order Empire he is a former ally and integrated leader who chose to rebel. Sicklebear leads the United Savage Tribes and the Sicklewrath. He is marked by red face paint over his eyes and wears a bear-pelt cape whose head serves as a hood and whose claws act as pauldrons; he can also transform into a powerful bear form. As chieftain he turned ordinary farmers’ sickles into weapons and united scattered savage tribes against external threats, including Order. After allying with Magis he received a bear-strength enchantment as a gift. He escapes capture when the Voltaic Capital falls and later reappears. The Order regards him as an independent tribal leader who opposed its expansion and actively allied against it. Spearos commands the Glacial Uprising and was the former Spearton leader. He wears a silver helmet edged in light indigo, sports a grey mohawk and ragged beard, an ash-blue scarf, and carries an icy light-indigo spear and shield encrusted with crystals. As founder of the Speartons he was defeated in the Trials by Adicai. He remained loyal at first, yet defected after Zarek chose the less experienced Atreyos as successor following Adicai’s death. His forces then gained ice powers. After his defeat he is captured. The Order sees him as a former loyal general driven to rebellion by succession politics. Archis heads the Woodland Tribes and was the former Archidon leader. He wears a brown eyepatch, a zigzag-edged green cape decorated with a tree-root design, vine wrist guards, and grey hair with a medium beard; he carries a wooden bow that sometimes appears twig-shaped with roses. As the Grand Bowmaster he invented the bow and founded the Archidons and their “Way of the Bow.” Humiliated by losing the Trials to the young Kytchu, who split his arrow, he fled with loyalists into the forests and founded the Woodland Tribes. Obsessed with a rematch against Kytchu, he is eventually captured. To Order he is the original Archidon founder who rebelled after losing leadership. Mera leads the Vampiric Soulstealers and was the former Meric leader. She appears hooded, with the hood covering half her face, and wears a purple-shaded cloak; in her unit form she has a deep purple cape with yellow and blue details and carries a distinctive staff. As founder of the Merics she lost to Thera in the Trials, then turned to Chaos powers, formed the poison-themed Vampiric Soulstealers, and allied with Chaos remnants. She is defeated in a siege. The Order views her as a former healer leader who defected to Chaos influences. Wrathnar commands the Borderland Flame Feeders and was the former Swordwrath leader. He bears a large burn scar across the right side of his face, wears a tattered maroon cape with singe marks and brown gloves, and wields a unique sword encrusted with molten rock and veined with magma. As founder of the Swordwrath he lost to Xiphos, then settled the borders with his followers, discovered a Fire Elemental nexus, and created the fire-themed Borderland Flame Feeders. He also sought to protect Inamorta from the Lunarclops. He serves as a major late-campaign boss who makes a final stand. Order regards him as the original Swordwrath founder who rebelled after replacement and pursued independence and power on the fringes. Lavish leads the Majestic Mafia. Though less detailed in description, he is associated with overtaxing thugs and criminal elements operating in Order cities. His group causes unrest and is linked to the origin of the Shadowrath through Shade’s story. He is fought in the mid-to-late campaign. To the Order he represents an internal criminal faction operating within or near its territory. Among the Chaos Empire remnants, Marrowkai—also called Kai and linked in some accounts to the undead Adicai—serves as the current Chaos leader. He appears as a skeletal undead mage or lich. Formerly Medusa’s right-hand man, he now leads the Chaos remnants after her death. He uses abilities such as Reap, which summons a grim-reaper-like effect to control or drag units. He stages early ambushes, temporarily captures King Zarek, and appears in major Chaos battles. He stands as the primary remaining Chaos antagonist and long-time enemy of Order. Giantlord Sightless is a massive, blinded alpha Giant who is sometimes used as a mount by Marrowkai. As the alpha of the Giants he is respected for his relentless will and has been claimed by Kai as a royal mount and symbol of dominance. He appears as a heavy Chaos threat. The Order treats him as a Chaos-aligned Giant leader. The Juggertwins form an elite pair that leads the Juggerknights, the heavy armored Chaos infantry. Lunarclops is a colossal late-campaign threat that Wrathnar tried to protect Inamorta from; it is fought as a major boss entity. Other Chaos forces include hordes of Deads—zombie-like undead melee units—Toxic Deads that throw poison, Eclipsors that are flying bat-like ranged units, Bombers that act as suicidal explosives, Crawlers, Juggerknights, and Giants or Enslaved Giants. Common enemy units that appear across both rebel and Chaos armies—many of which are also available as playable cards in multiplayer and deck-building—include melee fighters such as Sicklewrath, Swordwrath, Spearton, Juggerknight, Giant, Crawler, Dead, and Bomber; ranged and support units such as Archidon, Eclipsor, Magikill, Meric, and Toxic Dead; and others such as Ripriders. These units often appear in faction-specific variants enhanced by lightning for the Voltaic forces, ice for the Glacial Uprising, fire for the Flame Feeders, or poison for the Soulstealers. In essence, most of the campaign’s enemies are not pure outsiders. They are former Order-integrated leaders and their loyalists who rebelled after leadership changes, together with the lingering Chaos threat. The Order Empire views them as traitors or remnants that must be subdued in order to secure the map’s treasures and restore stability across Inamorta. Some, such as Spearos, begin more loyal and defect later because of personal grievances, while others, such as Magis or Wrathnar, more actively create anti-Order powers. The Chaos Empire (often simply called Chaos) is one of the main factions in the Stick War series, including Stick War: Saga. It serves as the dark counterpart and primary antagonist to the Order Empire, representing a force of pure evil that threatens all of Inamorta. It rose after the events of the original Stick War, building its strength in secret in the northern regions of Inamorta while the Order Empire was busy conquering and uniting the rebel nations in the south. According to the lore, Chaos was created by the Fire Elementals—beings born from hatred who sought god-like power similar to V—and it embodies dark, mysterious forces, including abilities like potent poison, petrification, and (in some depictions) passive healing or regeneration across its units. Originally led by the powerful sorceress Medusa (also known as Gargos), Chaos first openly clashed with Order in Stick War II: Order Empire. When Order reached No Man’s Land and began enslaving the Giants—whom Medusa considered her “babies”—she declared war. Order, joined by the rebel tribes, pushed Chaos back and ultimately defeated Medusa at her capital. After her death (or decapitation), control of the remaining Chaos forces passed to the undead mage Marrowkai (formerly Adicai), who ambushed King Zarek, seized influence over Chaos remnants, and continued skirmishes against Order. In Stick War: Saga specifically, the story begins with Order having defeated Chaos and discovering Medusa’s remains. Chaos units and armies still appear as enemies in the campaign (especially in later chapters involving northern Inamorta and Marrowkai’s forces), and players can also use Chaos-themed units and decks in multiplayer. Chaos fields a roster that mirrors Order’s structure—basic infantry, ranged units, spellcasters, and heavy tanks—but with a darker, more monstrous theme. Key units include Enslaved Miners, Crawlers, Deads (and Toxic Deads), Bombers, Juggerknights, Eclipsors (flying bat-like archers), Giants, and the spellcasters Marrowkai and Medusa. A dedicated Chaos Campaign is planned or in development for Stick War: Saga, which would explore the faction’s side of the story in more depth. Overall, Chaos stands as the series’ enduring embodiment of darkness, undeath, and conquest opposed to Order’s ideals of peace and unity.

In the sunlit training grounds just beyond the walls of Castle Iris, Princess Kytchu stood at the head of a loose formation of new Archidon recruits, her golden helmet with its distinctive wing-like extensions gleaming under the afternoon light as she barked sharp corrections and demonstrated the proper draw of a bowstring.
"Keep your elbow high and your breath steady,”
she called out, moving among them while adjusting a young soldier’s stance.
"An arrow loosed in panic is an arrow wasted. Focus on the target as if the entire battle depends on that single shot, because one day it will.”
The recruits nodded and raised their bows again, some still awkward in their quivers and wristguards, while she pointed to the two green markings on her own arm as a quiet reminder of the discipline she expected
"Again,”
she ordered, watching arrows either strike true or skitter into the dirt. When one promising recruit finally split an earlier arrow cleanly on the bullseye, Kytchu allowed herself a rare nod of approval.
"Better. That is the kind of precision the Order needs from its Archidons.”
Just as the session found its rhythm, the measured quiet was broken by the heavy, purposeful strides of her younger brother Xiphos approaching across the packed earth. He cut an imposing figure with the two vertical blue stripes marking his right eye, his blue cape trailing behind him, the golden pauldron on his shoulder catching the light, and the sword with its gold-ornamented crossbar resting easily at his side. Several recruits stiffened and lowered their bows at once. Xiphos strode straight into the circle without waiting for an invitation.
"Kytchu,”
he said, his voice firm and carrying across the grounds.
"Leave the recruits. Father needs us both at once.”
She turned, still holding her brownish-gold bow, and met his gaze.
"Xiphos. These are new soldiers. They still cannot hit a stationary mark without half of them scattering arrows into the dirt. Whatever it is can wait until the next volley is finished.”
He shook his head, the blue stripes on his face standing out sharply.
"It cannot wait. Scouts have returned from the borderlands between the heart of Inamorta and the settled territories of the Order Empire. There is movement along the frontier more than the usual raids. Father wants a full report, and he wants both the Archidon leader and the Swordwrath leader present to hear it and decide how we respond.”
Kytchu glanced back at the formation, then at the senior trainee nearest her.
"Continue the drills. Focus on the release and the follow-through. I will return when I can.”
She turned fully to her brother, her green cape shifting with the motion.
"Very well. Lead the way.”
Xiphos gave a short nod and began walking toward the castle, his longer strides forcing her to match pace.
"The reports are not clear yet,”
he said as they left the training grounds behind.
"Some of the scouts speak of shadows moving at night, others of tracks that do not match any known tribe. Father is already in a foul mood about it. He expects us to listen carefully and offer real counsel, not just stand there looking official.”
Kytchu kept her eyes forward, her expression steady.
"Then we will give him that counsel. The Archidons can range farther and quieter than most if the border truly needs watching. Your Swordwrath can hold whatever ground we identify. We have done this before.”
"Not with the border this unsettled,"
Xiphos replied, his tone darker.
"And not with Father already pacing the map room and muttering about how the old leaders would have handled it differently. He wants answers, Kytchu. Answers we may not have yet.”
She adjusted the bow across her shoulder and answered quietly but firmly,
"Then we will find them. Together, as we always have.”
The two siblings continued toward the throne room in silence for a few steps more, the sounds of the training grounds fading behind them as the weight of the coming report settled between them.
Example 1 – Kytchu correcting a recruit Kytchu: “Your elbow is dropping again. Keep it high and lock your shoulder. An arrow that flies wide is worse than no arrow at all.” Recruit: “Yes, Princess. I’ll fix it.” Kytchu: “Don’t just say it. Do it. Draw. Hold. Release. Now.” Example 2 – Xiphos interrupting the training Xiphos: “Kytchu. Enough for now. Father has summoned us.” Kytchu: “These recruits still can’t hit the same target twice, Xiphos. Give me ten more minutes.” Xiphos: “We don’t have ten minutes. Scouts just returned from the border between Inamorta and the Order Empire. Father wants both of us in the map room immediately.” Example 3 – Short exchange while walking Kytchu: “How bad is the report?” Xiphos: “Bad enough that Father is already in a temper. Tracks that don’t match any known tribe, movement at night, and two scouts who never came back.” Kytchu: “Then the Archidons will range farther tonight. Your Swordwrath can hold the line if it comes to that.” Xiphos: “That’s what I told him you’d say. He’s still not satisfied.” Example 4 – Kytchu leaving instructions Kytchu (to senior recruit): “Continue the drills. Focus on the release and the follow-through. If anyone loses form, start them over from the beginning. I will return when Father is finished with us.” Senior recruit: “Understood, Princess.” Xiphos: “Move, sister. He’s waiting.” Example 5 – Tense sibling moment Xiphos: “You always put the recruits first.” Kytchu: “And you always put the fight first. That is why Father needs both of us for this report.” Xiphos: “Just don’t argue with him when we get there. He’s already angry enough.” Kytchu: “I will speak when there is something worth saying. That has never changed.”
